I highly recommend this switch but beware of its limitations. When I first bought this switch, I used it to put a few accent lights on one switch with all the wires out of the way. Currently, I am using the switch in my home office for my monitors, printers, and other peripherals that need to be turned off periodically. It works great.
It looks very nice and is very easy to mount with 2 screws. It is, of course, thicker than a Decora wall plate, but what should one expect: It doesn't require a large hole in your wall like a wired switch.
Since it is wireless, there are limitations where it will work well. I suspect that it might be prone to interference. Channel A uses 500HZ and 1300Hz and Channel B uses 900Hz and 1700Hz. You also need to make sure that the transmitter and receiver are not out of range (50 feet) and that there is nothing in between the two that reduces the range too much.
In my case, I was having trouble when I had the transmitter and receiver less than 10 feet apart. I had the transmitter switch screwed to the upright of an IKEA shelf, a soft "blonde" board. This was not working well. I found that when I moved the switch to a different soft wood board (pine, I think) it works flawlessly. I suspect that if you mount it to drywall, you should have not problems as long as you don't experience any interference or range issues. I strongly suggest that you hold the switch firmly against the surface where you would like to mount it before you drill any holes in your wall or furniture.
This is a great product and works well as long as you don't provide it any obstacles.
Update: I have since given up on this switch. It is too unpredictable. I think that perhaps I got a early version of this product and Leviton has since improved it because I find it hard to believe that Leviton would put out such an unreliable product without soon fixing it. I'm not going to try a new one. I purchased a "Belkin BG108000-04 Conserve Energy-Saving Surge Strip" instead and it is working great. It includes a power strip which I need anyway.
