Yup, I bought a pack of these 13 years ago and they're still working. As a matter-of-fact, these night-lights have outlasted every major appliance in my house.

As the other reviewer said, these do not produce very much light, but that's usually what I want-- dimmer than the now-popular blue-LED power lights on electronics, which are annoyingly bright. Very flat-- they don't stick out of the wall much at all.

Also, these are VERY low power, 0.03W.

I have ordered several of these to plug into electrical outlets throughout my home at night. They give off a green glow that allows one to walk through the house at night and see well enough to avoid obstacles without turning on a light. They last absolutely forever, and use very little electricity. They are also safer than the more common night lights with a bulb that can cause a fire when overheated.

Besides their economy and durability, one of these guys is a must for travelling. On a cruise ship or in a hotel, if you get up in the middle of the night you have a choice: find the stool in the dark or turn on a glaring light and, probably, start a noisy fan. Had you plugged a Glow Guide into the shaver outlet when you checked in, it would have given you plenty of light for that midnight call. Don't leave home without one!

This item does not illuminate the room. It is just bright enough to let you know where the wall is. Being just a few milimeters thick, it does not stick out from the wall outlet, and would be good for hallways and other dark areas with a lot of traffic.

I bought this night light to replace a similar non-led product I bought about 10 years ago. The existing night light still works but it has developed an unsightly internal opaque layer that I suspect is a sign of electroluminescent degradation. Most night lights today are LED based and very bright. I just wanted something for the bathroom that was subtle and bordering on dim. I was about to give up my search when fortunately I stumbled on the Leviton. It consumes a negligible amount of electricity and produces a very soft green light. It is plenty bright and for some applications might be considered to bright. If this is the case, one can easily fashion a small paper visor to cut down on the intensity. To summarize, I am using the two I bought and am very pleased with the purchase. I highly recommend this night night.

I had a nightlight similar to this in our bathroom which is right off of our bedroom and it was very low light. I didn't want the light to be bright enough to light up my bedroom, but needed enought light to not hurt myself in the bathroom. This night light is perfect, and does just what I need it to. I have an extra in case I need it somewhere else or when I need to replace the one in my bathroom, which I don't expect will be very soon, my other one lasted at least 6 1/2 yrs.

When you must get up several times each night, not having to turn the bright lights on in the bathroom helps me to a only partially awake. And there is enough light for a proper aim.

I have six of these scattered throughout my house. They provide a low level light that is just bright enough to see at night without turning on a hallway or bathroom light. I have one that is 20+ years old and still operating like new. It costs pennies a year to operate and it lasts forever.

We just bought these, and they're just what we were looking for. Low power usage, not too bright. I don't know how long they last, but they're great off the bat.
