5.0 out of 5 stars A good product
This is a good solid product that easily handles my 4 can style flood lights. (the dimmer I replaced got hot when the lights were all the way on.) The green LED is nice for finding the switch when the lights are off. They were HALF the price of what my local hardware store chain wanted to charge me.

1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage
whoever gae this 5 stars doesn't know what they are talking about. the only reason you would want a 1000W dimmer is if you are hooking up between 500-800w (i never like to max it out) of bulbs. if you're hooking up 4 60watt bulbs you mind as well go for a 600w dimmer and save you half the price.

now with that being said...don't buy these for any commercial...

now with that being said...don't buy these for any commercial application. my business almost went without lighting. i went through two of these. the first time it went out about a year the power button just wouldn't turn the lights on b/c it burnt out being attached to a total of 600Watts. (it's rated for 1000W so i was no where near the total. I decided to try it again but this time i was smart enough to hold onto the receipt b/c it went out in 3 months. same issue. I have two Lutron switches S-10P-WH (orBL) that were installed the same time with the same amount of wattage attached and none of those have given me an issue yet. i would only buy Lutron from now on.
