I needed to install a drape rod where one end had to be wall mounted and the other end mounted. This versatile solution seemed perfect. However, there's a problem with the design ... the two screws for attaching it to the wall go side-by-side horizontally instead of vertically. As a result, there's not enough support and the weight of the drape forces the screws out of the wall--even when using the included anchors. A trip to the hardware store to buy winged anchors (not sure of the technical term) corrected the problem, but I'm not sure why such a product would have been designed this way. Otherwise, appears to be quality construction.

Made from sturdy material, the brackets hold our curtain rods well. We bought them because we needed to mount them on the ceiling in our bedroom and living room. They are a bit pricey compared to stuff you can get from Ikea, but we found them well worth the money. Recommended.

These brackets were easy to install and mount the rod. Best of all, is as the name implies. is the universality; i.e., it can be mounted in any of several orientations. I needed something that looked good and had to be ceiling mountable and this product worked well.

very versatile, good workmanship, nice finish...just wish it held a larger diameter rod. I did not notice a larger size and will have to see if its available.

These curtain rod brackets are strong, easy to install and take a variety of curtain rod diameters. A hidden screw keeps the rod tightly in the bracket itself, and we've successfully hung quite heavy curtains using these brackets to hold the rod (blackout backing on the curtains etc.). We have really non-standard windows and these brackets absolutely fit the bill; they don't take up much wall space, and they allowed us to buy long sturdy rods to exactly meet our needs. The brackets are sleek and very good looking on the wall. In short, i'm a fan and went out and bought a bunch more once I saw what the first set looked like!
