The Levolor Classic Drapery Holdbacks mount on each side of the window to casually draw draperies to the side, allowing more light into the room. The classic ball finial is a simple addition that will complement a broad range of decorative rod sets. Levolor Design Tip: A general guideline is to mount the holdback approximately 2/3 of the way down the drapery panel to make your draperies look taller and fuller. But to allow more light in, or create a more tailored look, the holdbacks can be mounted higher.

They are great, except that once on the wall you realize that it always kind of shows/sticks out even when material is hung. Its just the way they are made. Wish that part (where the screws go into the wall) didnt stick out so much.
