I was disappointed with this curtain rod. I'm not an expert at determining what a product is made from, but with the exception of the screws, this entire product seems to be made of plastic. I would never have paid $23-$24 for plastic had I known that's what the curtain rod was made of. Now with that being said it doesn't look like plastic. When it's hung up it looks like it's made of metal. The packaging was difficult to open...it ended up in about 30 pieces all over the kitchen table. The first curtain rod that was sent was lost in the mail, but once notified, Amazon speedily sent a replacement. I'm very happy with the customer service.

I bought three 66" x 120" x 3/4" rods. The rods are very sturdy since all other manfactures only make them 1/2" thick. I put them up on 3 windows...two windows are 78" wide and the center window is 112". I put Courtland Pleated Window Valances across them all. Totally changed the look of the room. I love the look of the rod. I also really liked that it came with 4 brackets. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend them.

I bought this to put over two windows that are side by side. I think it was 67 inches long. This fit perfectly across it for me to drape two scarves over that go with our decor. I love the look of the rod. I also really liked that it came with 3 brackets. At first when my boyfriend was putting it up he didn't think it would work because the middle was flimsy but once we realized there were 3 brackets there was no problem at all. The material does feel a little cheap but doesn't look plastic like described by another user. Over all I am very happy with my purchase.

The only negative I would give is that the packaging was way too big for the product and I hope Amazon will look into that. The shipping was fast though and received a day earlier than expected.
