These do the job of pulling the curtains open but they're thicker and heavier than I thought
they would be. Maybe clear would be better.

Just ordered 10 more of these for my black grommet-top panels. These work great as they clip directly to the metal grommet, not the fabric as other batons do. These are much less expensive, better design, and longer that the Umbra brand I bought at BB&B.

These rods are strong and durable but the description is misleading. The "satin nickel" is not satin nickel. It is a grey coated finish. True satin nickel is a brushed metallic finish and the look here is nowhere near metallic. Looks like matte grey paint. Does the job though but descriptio should be revised.
