This Levolor curtain rod functions perfectly and is a beautiful accent to my new family room. I purchased this set to cover a space around 80 inches. The rod was fairly easy to install and all you really need is a drill. The rod comes with all the necessary hardware and extra screws. We hung blackout curtains that were 52' by 84' (2 panels)and they are very thick curtains. Since the curtains were a little on the heavy side we added the center support bracket. You get a total of 4 brackets and if installed correctly they should not be 'flimsy' as another reviewer stated.
This is a much nicer set for the same amount of money if not less that you would spend at your local supercenter store. The rod color is even better than the picture with a brassy antique feel - very rich. I like the look of this curtain rod, the finish and design. A couple mistakes I made: The rod is way too small for the holes of the curtain I bought, which wouldn't be too big a deal except the curtains I bought are blackout curtains... Lastly, I can't figure out how the supports toward the middle are supposed to allow the curtain to open and close... Maybe I'm not supposed to use them if covering such a short span that I didn't have to extend the rod? A bit confused, some clarification would be nice. Otherwise, excellent rod.

Make sure you get the one you want....the picture shows satin nickel, which is what I had been looking at originally and ended up accidentally ordering this one. The rods are a little flimsy and it doesn't lock together very well. That's my only complaint. The color I ended up with looks just as good in my living room.
