This thing is heavy! I was expecting something more....cheap(flimsy,etc.) If you have cheap walls, then this is not the rod for you! It is very, very nice and elegant. The only thing to watch here is clearance. This thing sets at least two and a half inches off the wall, so make sure you have some other shade or curtains beneath this rod. Will definitely let in alot of light if you don't.
