This item arrived in good condition, and looked just as I had expected based on the picture on the product page.

I believe that another reviewer mentioned that the finials are larger than expected. After reading that, I was hesitant to buy this set at first, since the window we are covering is in a corner, and there is not much room for finials.

Unable to find anything else, we finally decided to estimate the size of the finials from the picture, based on the rod diameter, which is given. As we had suspected, they worked out. However, if the size of the finials had been printed in the product description, we might have bought this product much sooner.

The set looks just fine in our kitchen, and I think it's a very good value. I'm sick of the antiqued, or "distressed" looks I see everywhere else, and appreciate how clean this set is.

Also, it's very easy to remove and replace the curtains by unscrewing the finials.

My only complaint is that the brackets are a little unsightly, in a plain, industrial sort of way. However, we should be able to mostly hide them with the tabs on our new curtains, once they are ready.

As for the diameter of the finials: I just unscrewed one and took a very rough, unprofessional measurement of the ball part of the finial (I twisted up a piece of paper until it was stiff enough, and then stuck it into the one of the holes in the ball until it reached the other side). Based on that, it seems to be *approximately" 2 1/8 inches in diameter. However, if you have an extremely tight space, please don't base your decision on that!

I am very happy with this product, and would definitely recommend it.

This rod gave us the elegant look that we were hoping for. The rod is very sturdy. We used it to hang mid-weight draperies (not sheers but not velvet or corduroy either). The picture of the finial does not do it justice. The circles are more very distinct.

I really like this curtain rod. The end ball was bigger than expected. The finisher is a tad darker. My expectations were low and they definitely were exceeded. My only regret is not buying one size larger. Mine is 6 inches too short.

This is a poor quality product. The satin nickel looks tarnished upon arrival, and has discoloration. The screw inside the rod, which holds the knob in place, was broken upon arrival. I had to glue it back together. After installation, it appears very unstable. I used a very light, sheer curtain. I do not think this would hold a medium weight/heavy curtain. I will replace this item. I do not recommend it.

These are beautiful, and excellent quality for the price. I love the detail of the circles. I love them and would recommend to anyone

I ordered sets of the Levolor Sphere Rod Set. One came faster than other, but once I opened I was pleasantly surprised how well made they were. Metal ends with metal rods, no plastic. Easy to hang, and hold a (2) 54" x 84" lined curtain.

People who see them are asking where did you get those? Since they are nothing that I have seen in your commerial stores.

Most including myself would worry that these might look cheap. Nope, looks nice and appears to be of good quality. Only complaint is if you use them with drapes with rings the rings will hang on the transition. Not a big deal but annoying if you will open and close drapes a lot.

Very happy with the look & feel of the curtain rod. Nice modern look. However I had ordered a 3/4 inch as I wanted to extend it further by putting a 1/2 inch rod inside. 1/2 inch rod did not fit :( so i have to think of a nother economical way to futher extend this rod.
