I found this strap to be wonderfully well-made, comfortable and does just what its supposed to do - hold your guitar! no frills, sequins, glitter:) Just a well-made, functional item.

I bought this intending to use it on my Seagull acoustic but tonight I put it on my Squier Fat Strat instead. after getting tired of how raw the existing polypropylene strap -which was about the same price just because it had "Fender" embroidered on it- was making my neck. When I put this on the electric the difference was immediately noticable even though my neck was still sore from the cheap strap. So I decided to sign in and write this review. This strap is softer and better made than the poly ones. It even comes with a string tie for your acoustic, which you might need. Consider taking my advice: Treat yourself. $15 for a strap -when guitars cost hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars- is not much. Besides, the cotton and suede will not scratch your axe... The only downside is that the strap ends are pretty thick and is very snug on my pegs. I use c-type snap-on strap locks but they will no longer fit. Maybe I'll see if the venerable Grolsch strap locks will work. You can spend more to get wider straps with more padding if you want but do not bother getting something cheaper unless a strap of at least this quality is on sale. Update: Too snug for Grolsch strap locks on the Squier also...

Very well made, extremely comfortable, looks good, and holds up my guitar...what else do you want a guitar strap to do?

If you're a relative beginner, playing with some real musicians, you will feel more comfortable with this unassuming strap. A strap isn't a vanity, it's a must. You've learned by now, that different seating requires the stability of a strap. Perhaps someday you'll even stand while you play. When that day comes, no one would think you were a big shot if you wear a decorative strap. Meanwhile this humble strap does the job, and goes with everything.

Quality strap for not a lot of dough,

The Levy cotton strap is a great value. It's not cheap my any means. The ends are two-ply suede with the cotton webbing sandwiched between them. There is plenty of stitching that it's not going to pull out. Since the ends are two ply, they are stiff enough to really hold onto the guitar without slipping off but not too stiff to make it difficult to put on. I've had a cheap Ernie Ball strap and it doesn't even compare. The only thing to consider is how low you want to carry your guitar. If you're around 6' the guitar will sit just below your belt-line. If you want it lower then you'll want to get the Levy's Leathers X-long 2 Cotton Guitar Strap,Black. It's a good quality guitar strap.

I ordered this strap for my 9 year old daughter who is just learning guitar. She was complaining about the strap she had hurting her shoulder so I needed to get her a more comfortable one. This one is definitely a big step up in comfort. She needed to make it very short because she's so small and the length adjustment piece was on her shoulder so I reversed the strap on the guitar, just like on the first one she had, and that got it off her shoulder. It's much thicker than a synthetic strap and not as slippery against your shirt. Stable AND comfy!

This guitar strap is nothing fancy but it is comfortable and wide enough so the weight of your guitar won't cut into your shoulder. The cotton feels so much better than any nylon strap and especially if you practice for more than an hour at the time. Go ahead and get one, you will NOT regret it!

I thought cotton would be more comfortable, but this strap is just OK. I had trouble with the eyeholes being too tight to slip over the fasteners on my Epiphone and PRS. I finally stretched them the out and got them on...but just barely.IN comparison to my Fender and Smith straps, this is my least favorite, but for less than ten bucks, I had to take a shot.

Easily adjustable, comfortable, and not showy or flashy. Exactly what I was looking for in a strap.

Not much to say about a guitar strap... except I had planned to use it on a Simga acoustic without a pin at the neck. I ended up using the strap on my Strat for the acoustic and this one is on the Strat. This one doesn't come with a wrap or tie for the nut so, it is for use with a guitar with a pin at both sides of the body. If you need to secure one end at the headstock, this is not an option. It is comfortable though.
