This is a good, basic book on antennas. While there are other, better books (see the ARRL's "Basic Antennas"), this is a good overview by one of the masters of antenna design.
Unfortunately, CQ Communications, the publisher of this book (buy it new from them), has taken a short cut and used terrible, low-resolution photos for the book. Come on, CQ: get with the program. It's not that difficult! Good book for the money (again, purchase new directly from CQ publications).

Lew McCoy is a radio amateur pro. In this brief text book he gives the reader the benefit of years of experience dealing with radio amateur antennas. I rate this as one of my best go to books on the subject. It gets to the point without complexity or math. You will use this book if you build antennas.
