I really enjoyed the edited journals. They are a nice contrast to other books that just concentrate on a few events. The maps were a nice addition and the campsite locations telling me where they were was something I missed in all other books.

I enjoyed the quick read of the journals. I wassurprised that there wer so many other things they did that other books don't spend time on. The maps added a lot. Especially liked the Oregon and Washington part. I think they would be a wonderful addition to a high school or college history class. |
