If you buy this stuff, follow the recommendations to the letter. And do realize that the product does not substitute for sleep. You still need your 8 hours every 24 (or whatever). What No-Jet-Lag does is relieve the other symptoms of long-distance travel across time zones. And as far as I'm concerned, it does it well.
When I don't use these pills, I feel nauseous and dizzy. However with my routine the nausea and dizziness are kept to a minimum. It's not completely eliminated, but I can function and attend meetings.
On top of taking the pills every 2 - 3 hours, I also double fist water whenever the cart comes by, and I abstain from drinking any kind of alcohol. I sleep according to my destination time zone and take half of a Melatonin pill to help me sleep even if I don't want to. I think my Melatonin pills are from CVS and they're 6 mg. Remember to power walk through the airport as well.
My longest time I have ever been flying is 21-22 hours (flight time, including multiple legs). I just completed that trip the 3rd week of Nov 2012. I had no problems adjusting and even was productive for a short work day. I highly recommend this to people, even when traveling to Europe from the United States.
This is where I got the source for the exercising.
I hope this helps everybody.
On my last trip, I got on a plane in Phoenix at 9pm and took a dose of Jet Fighter Sleep pills, shortly after take-off, I was out cold before the first drink service came by. I love that! I woke in Boston when the plane landed at 5a and I took a dose of Jet Fighter Awake pills. This was a perfect combo. Slept all night and was awake all day. By 8pm, I started getting sleepy and my natural clock was perfectly set.
These No-Jet-Lag pills seem like a product that would work, but I just couldn’t make an excuse to wake myself up every two hours to take a pill. Maybe when I am flying the other way, Phoenix to Hawaii, I will try them out and edit my review, in the meantime, I am sticking with what I know works.
I do have to add though, that my flight was unusually comfortable since it was half full I got my own middle row on a newly outfitted Singapore Airlines plane. I also was using an anti-germ/virus spray as well as anti-sickness vitamin pills (the effervescent kind created by a teacher), and I also brought and drank 2 liters of my own water onto the plane, in addition to the many cups of water I was served.
I slept VERY well on the flight, I thought the pills gave me more energy while also making me more relaxed. I forgot my last dosage when I landed, but again, my jet lag did not feel nearly half as bad as usual and I recovered from it much faster than usual.
If you are truly serious about beating jet lag, you will probably want to incorporate these pills into a larger program (like I did) but the pills on their own do give you a noticeable effect.
I found these in my local luggage store for almost twice as much as this Amazon seller. I used it on a 12 hour flight across several time zone.Read more ›
