Great Beach Extra!,

I used this last week at the beach with a Pentax Optio M50 it stayed dry and the pictures I took in and under water are very clear and look great. It's a little tricky because the lense will go back in if not enough room between camera and bag but with a little extra air left in the bag it's no problem. I would recommend this as an affordable way to use your camera in the water.

NOTE THE GPS IN THE PICTURE. This is what you need to use to see if your object fits. Linked from another site, I ordered this for my kindle 2. I double checked all the measurements on the description page. My kindle 2 doesnt come close to fitting. The measurements given include all the seals making it close to 2.5 inches shorter than the given 8 inches. Also note the strap, its placement makes no sense. Why oh why would they put it in the corner, effectively cuting off 1 inch by 1 inch. Again, all this is in the picture, if you know to use the GPS to base your decisions on whether or not your item will fit.

Good product, bad packaging.,

I like the product, but I damaged it removing it from the STUPID packaging and I endeed up ordering a different one. Why do some companies think they have to pack things like that? You need a knife to unpack it and the corner of the product is VERY close to the edge of the packaging. It's very frustrating.
Update Feb 18: I wined to the manufacturer, and they replaced the unit. you can't beat that. I would give them a five now.

Underwater photography for only the smallest cameras,

This "large" bag is too small to be of much use with anything but the smallest cameras. With my Fuji E550 there was not enough room for the lens to extend without difficulty, and the plastic that tented in front of the lens caused distortions. The Canon A570 in the _medium_ product picture is not much smaller (only .1 inch less thick), but I don't think even that would work well in the large bag, let alone the medium. My smaller Fuji F100fd looks like it would work OK, but something with an internal lens mechanism would be even better. It is easy to get smudges on the plastic and then it is hard to clean the inside of the bag. It is very difficult to see the LCD screen underwater, but that is probably more a function of the camera than the bag. Colors will be shifted towards blue (again a function of the camera, not the bag) unless your camera has an underwater mode -- in which case it is probably a waterproof camera that doesn't need extra protection. It did keep the water out, though.

Just got back from the Virgin Islands and used the pouch to take underwater pictures. The pouch kept the cameras perfectly dry. It was easy to use and a good size for both our small video camera and digital camera. We had to mess with it a bit to get used to turning the camera on, but once we figured it out it was fine. The pictures turned out ok. I would recommend this as an inexpensive way to take underwater pictures as well as to keep any items dry when on a boat or on the beach.

If you search "Kindle Waterproof" on Amazon, this is what comes up. But the size listed isn't the size of the *container,* it's the size of the whole piece of plastic. No way can you fit a Kindle in here. It's suitable for a small camera, but that's it. For your Kindle, use a ziplock freezer bag.

Didn't do the job,

I'd like to think I'm pretty competent at doing things. I thought I rolled it up as it should have been. It leaked. It may have been my error, but the point was, it leaked.
I should note I took this underwater while free diving a couple of feet, so I didn't just wade in a pool with it. Maybe that had something to do with it. But the description claims it can handle minimal depth, and I found that it did not. Good thing I tested it out first with nothing important in it. I returned it.

Don't buy anything from this terrible company!,
This review is from: Lewis N. Clark WaterSeals Large Camera & Multiipurpose Waterproof Pouch (Apparel)
We bought a voltage converter from Lewis N. Clark Co. Using it in Europe, my two electric shavers became ruined. Lewis N. Clark Co. denied responsibility, giving a ridiculous explanation that you shouldn't use it with dual voltage shavers, which a shaver repair person agreed made no sense. When I complained, Lewis N. Clark had me send them the converter for inspection. Then they stalled for many weeks and finally claimed the converter was fine. But when I asked for it back three times, they didn't send it back until six weeks later. In the meantime, they insisted that their literature specifies not to use it with dual voltage shavers. This was a lie!

I thought that this would fit my Kindle 2. IT DOES NOT...it doesn't even come close. It's a nice bag for other objects I guess, but did not fit my Kindle as it implied.
