It worked perfectly and as long as you turn off the flash your photos will look great and the camera stated dry.

This thing was a godsend for our cruise to the Bahamas. Since you have to pretty much leave anything you bring off the ship on the beach, we absolutely needed something to keep our IDs and cash in to take into the water with us. This thing kept everything inside absolutely dry, and although initially I was annoyed by its moderate size, it really came handy as we jammed more and more stuff in over the days (including a cell phone).

The bottom line is it was definitely worth the $6.99 we paid; Also, just FYI, it's normal for the ziploc folds to get wet; the stuff inside will be dry though!

The dimensions listed are deceiving. The description says 11 x 7 x 3 inches. The acutal dimensions are 10 long x 4 3/4 wide x 3 deep, including the material that's rolled up for the seals. The acutal the usable space inside the pouch once sealed is about 6 x 3.5 x 3 inches. If you're expecting to store much more than a small camera or wallet, keys, change, etc., you'll be disappointed.

This bag works perfectly under water. I used it several times under water with my camera and never had a drop inside after opening. The only reason I gave it 4/5 is that I have the same camera shown in the product picture and it was tough at times to get my camera to turn on and extend the lens. It would almost make it but then close after sensing tension. It was tricky at times, but I was still able to get my camera turned on. I'd highly recommend this or its bigger brother to anyone needing to keep something dry under water.

I got one of these 6 months ago when my husband and I went to Hawaii for snorkeling - it worked great kept everything we put in it dry, and I did not have to worry about leaving car keys and id on the beach. Loved it so much I had to get another one for him.

The second time I used this product it leaked and ruined my camera. Luckily I was able to remove my memory card and save all my pictures. I thought I could save a few dollars by buying this instead of a disposable underwater camera. But it ended up costing me about $250 to replace my camera. Huge disappointment.

This works very well to keep things waterproof and easy to use and open, compared to kwik tek items that tend to have water dribble in when trying to open and close.
I wouldn't though recommend using this to actually take pictures b/c I find that the pictures come out a bit hazy due to the plastic there but good to keep a camera or GPS or cell phone dry and then take out for use when possible. It's a good size and I either wear it over my neck and my husband has even put it down around his waist and dropped it into the side pocket of a swim trunk to keep it out of the way.

This was a lifesaver for us on our trip to Hawaii. We kept all our money and passports in here dry while we were in the ocean/on the beach. It's basically a glorified zip-lock bag with 3 locks that fold over, but it works great! I even tested it with my cell phone and was able to shoot video (the touch screen still worked from outside the bag!). It's not meant for this, and you won't get great results unless the lense is right up against the plastic, but it still worked.

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because if you reach inside repeatedly, the sides start to tear (it's just plastic), and the seals won't work after that. It's not very resilient. Great otherwise.

Don't spend your money with this. This is a poorly designed unreliable product which Amazon should be ashamed of selling. We took it to two Water Parks in Orlando. The second time we used it we did exactly the same procedure as we did the first time, made sure we used it just in the surface of the water (my wife is not a diver so we assigned her to take it on her neck) but it did not retain the water so causing me the loss of a $150 camera. I was fortunate enough to be able to download the pictures stored in the card so our memories were saved but the camera was dead.
If you choose to buy this, make sure you use a cheap camera and have your pictures backed-up somewhere else.
