My only issue was that one of the bottom holes for the screws that attaches the base to the chair itself did not line up correctly. There was absolutely no way to line up the base to be able to screw in all four screws. Luckily the 3 screws are quite strong and sturdy and the chair is still very stable even without that one screw.
All in all, it's a great chair for the price. I would not pay anywhere near the list price.
Update 7/27/14: So I've had the chair for a year now and it's stood up to near constant usage of myself and two tween boys. However, one of the arms of the chair has broken off. I will mostly lay the blame for that on the two durned children, but just know that under EXTREME circumstances (i.e. children) your mileage my vary on the build quality. It's still a great chair though.
I could not assemble this chair since there are missing screws and washers. And there does not seem to be a way to contact Amazon or manufacturer to get the missing parts. I am hoping that I don't have to repack and return the entire chair vs just getting a small package containing the missing parts.
End of first day: Chair makes mysterious cracking noises periodically and the chair it's self it slightly off-center, leaning to the right side. It's irritating but could possibly be attributed to poor assembly on my part. However the cracking noises, easily broken arm-rests and thin seat padding make it considerably annoying. It's better than my previous chair, but I wouldn't buy the previous chair again either. The short version is I will not be buying this chair again.
After a few months the wheel is breaking off, the other arm-rest broke off, the back is bent, the whole rig is shakey. Wouldn't buy again.
Final Update (May 13th): Casters broke off one at a time, about a day apart. Replaced them with another chair's casters, only to have the seat break when the back of it finally gave out and ripped it apart.
(1) Price - Gold Box was less than $60. Even the current $69 is still a bargain.
(2) Breathability - Cloth seat and mesh back are ideal. Plastic arms and vinyl headrest are practical.
(3) Comfort - Decent back support and adjustable height make for a very comfortable chair.
The chair was well-packed and arrived with EXACTLY the stated parts. It was a little tricky aligning the bolts for the bracket under the seat cushion, but the rest of the assembly went smoothly. While this chair perfectly suits its intended use, I would agree with other reviewers that the ability to recline would be a plus.
