just doesn't work!!--and they get you by not giving a refund-- I bought 5 of them for digital frames--opened one and again like the other reviewers it must be a format problem--just stick with San Disk--no problems with that brand-- aj

I own two of these 4gb sdhc from lexar and can't either of them to format. Every other brand I have run into works fine. Sent two emails to Lexar about the problem and no response. Beware.

The card works but is a bit slow,

I got the card as part of a combo deal for free, so I can't complain too much.
The card itself comes in the most bare of packaging - no plastic case to hold the card - the card's just there. It's a Class 2 card, and I popped this in an older 7MP digital camera I had and it worked fine. I didn't notice any slowness when compared to a Class 6 card. Recording VGA video was ok as well. I'm not sure how it'd work with capturing 720p or faster video, but I wouldn't chance it. It's SDHC, not SD, so make sure you're getting the right one for your camera. At the price point, there are faster cards out there. Look at the Transcend 4 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card with USB Card Reader TS4GSDHC6-P2 instead - faster card with a USB reader for $2 more.

Junk Memory Stick,
This review is from: Lexar 4 GB Class 2 SDHC Flash Memory Card LSD4GBASBNA (Personal Computers)
I have used these for my cheaper camera without a problem but when I got my Pentax K7 I had problems. I took pictures and my computer wouldn't read some pictures. I got another card reader. Still problems. Sometimes the camera would say the memory stick is full when it wasn't. I would reformat and use it for a little while. Same problems: couldn't save pictures to it. Couldn't read the pictures I already took. I thought it was a fluke. I went to buy replacements. I saw Lexar was half the price of other brands so I bought 2.
What's the saying that comes to mind? Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Same problems with the 2 new Lexar memory cards. I will NEVER EVER buy Lexar again. If you offer them to me for $2 I will say it's $2 wasted. Not to mention the wasted pictures that can't be retrieved. Buy SanDisk.

Cheap piece of trash,
This review is from: Lexar 4 GB Class 2 SDHC Flash Memory Card LSD4GBASBNA (Personal Computers)
I only bought this cheap piece of crap because I was in a pinch and there were no other cards in the store (I otherwise ONLY use SanDisk, which are awesome). The first time I used the Lexar card it worked fine; the second time it worked fine, until my camera's batteries died (camera is Pentax K200). After inserting the new batteries, I could no longer preview any of my images - not the ones already taken, not new ones I took, nothing. I tried accessing the card via my computer, and it showed up empty. A whole day of hiking photos - gone, and the piece of crap is dead, unreadable, unwriteable. I will never buy Lexar again!!!

Works well with EeePC,

I got this for free with a ram purchase. I use it in an Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU17-BK's built in HD card slot. It fits well in the slot (flush when inserted) and works perfectly. I cannot comment on ready boost because I'm booting Linux on my EeePC but I suspect it would work well for readyboost for anyone leaving Windows 7 on the box.

I got this card as a freebie with the Crucial 2GB Laptop Memory for my Acer 10.1" netbook. I used it to backup the data on it before I went uninstall-crazy removing all the junk I'd never need from that netbook. Because the Acer is compatible with SDHC cards it worked flawlessly.
The only gripe with this card is that it doesn't come with an SD card case. It's just packed in a plastic tray attached to the retail display card packaging.

Using memory in new camera and it seems to be working great. Loved the price also.

I got it free with a promo so I really didn't buy it. I found that my camera was 'busy' too often after taking pictures (yes I formatted it with the camera) so I deem it too slow for my camera. I am now using it for my electronic picture frame for which it is perfect for. Holds a lot of pictures and it doesn't have to be fast.
