Please consider purchasing another brand of CF card such as a SimpleTech or SanDisk brand. I purchased one of these Lexar 4X cards and had used it only a few times before it froze up while containing many pictures that I did not want to loose. The pictures were not recoverable even when using recovery software designed to extract pictures from bad cards. Lexar did replace the card free of charge, however, I still had to wait for the replacement card to be sent back to me after I sent them the bad one. I have one other Lexar 1 GB card which is an "SD" card and it is now giving problems in that mp3 music files stored on that card are becoming corruped for no reason. I have several "Ultra" ScanDisk cards and SimpleTech cards in both "CF" and "SD" versions that have been used over and over and they are all working fine. Since all of these cards have become cheaper, the slight extra cost of a SanDisk or a SimpleTech card may well be worth paying for as it may keep you from having to go through the wasted time of having to return your card for warranty.

I had already sent this card back once as it had corrupted the images in my Digital Elph camera. I am not a professional photographer, but I did get a bit tired of waiting for the pictures to write to the card after taking photos. I would recommend a newer/faster card than this.

This 1Gb CF is a supurb unit for an inexpensive addition when in the proper format and maintained taking note of any irregular usages. my Aptiek cam USB makes a useful tool in the proper hands performs flawsless as I use to in a PI function. Keep in mind that with any advance piece of hardware that it pays to have a good understanding of how in using it you don't become the malfunction (I.E) A short between the headsets. lol
