5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! Great Value
I needed to upgrade the memory on my digital camera and I have been waiting until pricing came down. The Lexar 128MB card works great and is a lot less than the name brand. It's fast and easy to download. Why pay more for the name brand???

3.0 out of 5 stars Spotty Performance with San Disk Reader
First one I purchased worked great... My sony P7 recognized it and my San Disk reader also read it. Immediately ordered another one.

2nd one was a bust. Reader would not recognize it. Sent to amazon.com for a replacement.

3rd one was spotty. Reader sometimes read it, sometimes not. Sent back for refund.

It should be mentioned that in all cases, my P7 (and my...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Clie!, February 12, 2002

Bought a Sony 64MB stick for 69.95 when I first purchased my Clie 760, soon needed more storage space so bought the Lexar 128MB for $10.00 less! Performance is same, holds hundreds of spreadsheets, several apps or around 50 mp3's. And there is absolutely no difference in performance!
You can't go wrong!

I own a Sony digital camera that I wanted have more storage for. When I saw the price on this Lexar branded stick of 128meg media, I knew I had to try it out. Popped it into my camera and it works perfectly. The camera recognized it instantly and I was up and running in no-time. Considering it's ... less than other 128meg sticks, it's a tremendous deal. It's nice to have extra sticks around when I need to take some shots. I highly recommend it.

Why waste those extra dollars purchasing a Sony memory stick when, you can get this stick for almost HALF the cost!! I own a Mavica FD97 and use SEVERAL Lexar memory sticks in it! You'll find NO DIFFERENCE between these sticks and the Sony. The only thing you'll notice, is HOW MUCH more money you'll have left over after purchasing the Lexar sticks.

So, whether you shoot photographs for business or are just a weekend warrior, thses memory sticks should serve you very well!!

I've seen memory sticks in stores but until you actually hold one, it's hard to grasp just how small these things are. They compare it to a stick of gum but that's actually overstating the size of the thing. These are TINY. I popped it into my VAIO and was transferring data between the laptop and card immediately. I use it now as my primary data storage source for my personal files. The price on this thing is amazing. I'm hoping they come out with a 1GB version in the near future but for day-to-day use, this thing is amazing.

I use Sony DSC-F707, and have both Sony & Lexar 128MB Memory Stick. There is no difference between Sony & Lexar Memory stick, apart from the fact that Lexar is cheaper, and it doesn't have protect cover. Since Lexar is more than several dollars cheaper than Sony, I have no problem not having the protect cover.

In spite of Sony's recent feeble price roll-backs, LEXAR still beats them. These guys have been making other types of digital memory for years. First Class! Buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Sony!, October 1, 2002

Yes, BETTER! It is absolutely identical to the Sony Memory Stick, but cheaper. (Some reviews make it out to be slightly faster too!) That makes it better in my book. I have several: All perfect after a good thrashing.
