I use Lexel for glass on glass mosaics and for gluing together anything that I used to use clear silicone for. If you can be patient and wait for the item to cure for a full two weeks, you will not be dissapointed. It is so clear, it's unbelievable. I don't have problems with the glue clogging up the end of the tube because I wrap the entire tube in plastic wrap between uses. This keeps the air out. The tube should be used within a year of purchase for best quality.

One reviewer says Lexel is difficult to use after first use because plug forms inside delivery tube. That is true and a bit off-putting, but there is a low tech solution. Think of the tube as a tappable bladder. When you need some Lexel, puncture the tube with a nail or the like, squeeze out whatever you need, and you are done. The tube reseals in seconds. The problem arose from what makes Lexel so useful. It sticks to everything. Everything. Even wet surfaces.

WAY too hard to use. Does not smooth. I tried to use the technique of soapy water for smoothing and it did not work at all. Went back to using trusty Goop.
