After ordering many Lexerd screen protectors for my tech toys in the past, I almost didn't order this one for my new Garmin 3590LMT GPS due to the negative reviews posted. However, contrary to the negative reviews, the Lexerd screen protectors I ordered fit the entire 3590LMT screen, have rounded edges (to match the screen's), and adhere solidly to the screen. They are also very easy to apply. As the Garmin 3590LMT has a shiny glass display, the anti-glare screen protector is a must-have to prevent annoying reflections (with the glare the GPS is nearly useless while driving). Not sure why there are negative reviews -- perhaps they got the wrong product or posted their reviews to the wrong product. If you need a terrific anti-glare protector for your Garmin 3590LMT, you can't go wrong with the Lexerd brand!

I reviewed both the 5 star and 1 star reviews of this product before purchasing a set for my new Garmin 3590LMT. I have to side with the 5 star review, as the product fits perfectly and was easy to install. The one star may have had an experience with an early version of the shield, but I see no problem whatsoever with the current product design. The corner problem that was reported in the 1 star review does not exist, assuming you center the shield on the GPS as intended.

It is a good idea to take a minute and line up the shield with the adhesive protective backing still in place. You should try to position the shield on the screen with the same amount of space around the perimeter. Taking a moment to do this will give you a good idea of where to position the shield when you start to install it. NOTE: There is a notch on one side of the shield to align with a notch in the GPS screen, so be sure to orient the shield accordingly before applying.

I began by pulling back the protective backing about one quarter of the way from one side, then positioning the edge of the shield against one side of the GPS screen. Take your time and lay down the shield slowly, using the plastic card provided to work all of the air bubbles out as you go. If an air bubble gets trapped as you are pressing the shield in place, pull the shield back enough to allow the air to escape, then continue to use the card to push the shield down as you go.

I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and have the second shield in case the first ever requires replacement.

I was really surprised that Garmin would put their best GPS on the market with a screen that you couldn't seen when the sun was shinning on it. The glare was intolerable!!

I purchased the Lexert TruVue Anti-Glare GPS Screen Protector and was amazed at how much the glare was cut down. I can now see the screen. I have to still tilt the screen one way or the other, but it's amazing how well I can now see the screen. I used it yesterday in the bright Arizona sun and it worked beautifully. I still can't imagine Garmin putting out a product that has so much glare in the sun. My previous Garmin didn't have this problem.

I purchased the pack for my gps and used it right away. About a week after I placed the screens on the gps it somehow was hit with something sharp and the screen protector took the impact and scratch. I'm thankful I purchased this and put it on as soon as it arrived.

The downside to the screen protector is that at times the glare on the screen makes it hard to look at (but its rare) and that it makes the screen look a little darker than it is. This screen protector is exactly like the privacy screen protectors for cell phones ( i had it on my iphone and HTC evo 3D).

I would buy this again if I needed another set.

My husband and I were trying to get screen protector for our new Garmin Nuvi 3590LMT with 5" screen for some time. The reviews for products we were researching showed that screen protectors did not cover the whole screen and eventually got peeled off. Not this one. It matches the screen shape and covers the whole surface. The anti-glare effect is good. Very satisfied with this product.

Purchased a new Garmin 3590 LMT. It has a shinny touch screen and I wanted some protection for the $300.00 wizz bang GPS. I almost went to a different brand than the Lexerd. They are not the cheapest and some of the reviews had me wondering if they were worth the money. Well, I received the Lexerd last week and installed one on this GPS. Best thing I ever did. First let me say, bring the GPS in the house where it can be properly cleaned and laid on the table. Doing this proceedure while it's hanging in the car is probably why so may people have trouble getting it on straight. I had zero problems and it took maybe 30 seconds. I went from left to right on this 5 inch GPS. I lined up the little notch on the garmin, pulled back the protecting cover about half way, and continued to pull the backing off and squeezed out the air has I laid the protector down nice and straight. Touch screen works great. I can't say how long it will last since I just got it installed. I will say it feels good and I don't have the feeling it will fall off anytime soon.

What a disappointment. The corners on the Garmin Nuvi were rounded while the corners on the Lexerd TrueVue screen protector were almost square. A rub across any corner on the Nuvi easily lifted the overhanging Lexerd protector.

Quoting Lexerd's website: "the TrueVue is designed to precisely match the contours of every device." Perhaps the lack of a part number on the Lexerd TrueVue package should have been a clue of 'one size fits all' rather than my expectations of a 'customized fit'.

If you really want a well fitted screen protector, I would look elsewhere. If your happy cutting off the corners so it fits, well, the choice is yours.

Fits my Nuvi 3590LMT perfectly and it was very easy to apply to my screen, needing very little effort on my part to remove any air bubbles. The matte finish helps greatly in cutting down screen glare which is a major plus in my opinion never alone protecting the GPS's display screen.

You do get 2 protectors, so having an extra on hand if and whenever needed is a plus.

Although a little pricey in my opinion I'm still quite pleased with my purchase, I feel the benefits outweigh the cost and I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

works
quality, so-so, thin, a little flimsy
not all edges stick to screen well
affects the contrast of screen, but cuts down glare
