The Screen Protector did what I wanted it to do, now the GPS viewing screen is more readible in bright sunny conditions.

After spending my first two months in the united states buying stuff to setup a new life here in this country tonight I just decided to write my first review ever on things I've purchased so far. This item arrived even a day earlier than the earliest estimated date on the website. it was perfectly protected inside the envelope and with a very big and clear "DO NOT BEND" sing on the outside of the envelope in order to make sure that the screen film doesn't get damaged during shipping (Thanks to the seller for being professionally prompt). I would say that I'm positive that this protector made the screen of my nuvi 1690 look much better and more clear without affecting the touch response of the screen, but more important to that is that it was super-easy to install on the screen following the easy instructions and using the basic equipment provided with the product leaving no blisters as usually happens with cheap screen protectors... if you want to keep your Garmin nuvi 1690 screen happy, just go and buy this product.... thanks.

This Protector has been doing an excellent job. Does not enter fear with any touch screen controls. Great buy.!.!.

This item does a good job of protecting the screen and minimizing glare. Only problem with it is that it has a sticky side that will trap lint (and you can not get it off) so clean the screen well and do not touch the sticky side.

It is easy to apply and doesn't bubble significantly. The on-screen touch function is unaffected by the protector. Its probably worth the investment to protect your GPS unit from scratches.
