5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Customer Service!
Five Stars for Lexerd customer service! I purchased a Lexerd TrueVue screen protector for my Zumo 660 motorcycle GPS. The screen protector arrived two-days later. I just got this product and put it to the test. It basically junk. it does a good a descent job with glare, but i wouldnt suggest you touch it. if you do , you better not use your fingernail cause it leave scratches on it that dont come out. I wasnt pushing very hard on this protector while manipulating my route on my gps, but whatever i touched with my nail, left a permenant scratch. I actually have 2 of these and my second one did the exact same thing.

I will say that the company has excellent customer service though. i cant recommend there product. a gps screen (expecally one designed for motorcycle use) is going to come across all sort of use. For it not to be able to take a dull fingernail without scratching just aint gonna cut it.

Five Stars for Lexerd customer service! I purchased a Lexerd TrueVue screen protector for my Zumo 660 motorcycle GPS. The screen protector arrived two-days later. I had some problems affixing the screen protector due to putting it on in a dusty environment - and I ruined it. I wrote Lexerd and asked for a replacement (due to my own negligence) and they sent me out another (again, in two days!)no charge! The second protector was affixed with no problems and it works as advertised. It cuts on the glare and it protects the delicate touch-screen on my very expensive Garmin. I would advise anyone to get one of these - especially if you have a motorcycle-mounted GPS.... gloves and helmets brush against it constantly and it gives you a piece of mind so you can enjoy the ride.

1.0 out of 5 stars it almost worked great, January 30, 2011

I was hopeful when I began this project. I like that it is an exact fit for the Zumo. First I removed the generic film from my Zumo I got from the office store and put on when I first got my Zumo. I put on my latex gloves, cleaned the screen with dust/lint free cloth and Dust-Off, peeled back the film liner and carefully aligned the film to the screen. Good so far. I like that there were NO air bubbles after the film was completely on the screen. but then this happened. When the film was fully on it looked great, except for one almost invisible speck. Was it on top or under the new film? Got the magnifier and heck, it seemed to be under the film. I could have left it it was so small, but I wanted perfection. I followed the instructions and used some adhesive tape to lift the film up, that went OK. But, the spec was stuck to the sticky side of the film, of coarse. There is no way to remove a spec of small dust from the sticky side of the film as far a I know. $9.95 down the drain. I may try it again, but I can get three generics for $7.00 from the office store. How about a little less greed and put two of the damn things in the box? I'd pay and extra buck or two and you'd save on the packaging? The little black finger condoms are a waste of money, leave those out and put in a second film??

5.0 out of 5 stars Protective cover, September 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lexerd - Garmin Zumo 665 660 TrueVue Anti-Glare GPS Screen Protector (Electronics)
Very easy to install, be sure to work out all the small air bubbles and wear latex gloves, the small black baby finger covers got a real laugh from all that i showed, I have very large hands and the covers may have fit on my baby fingers, so get some gloves before installation and make sure screen is clean on the GPS, follow manufacture guidelines for screen cleaning. I should have bought a spare cover, the price is right. I highly recommend a cover on the screen, as with a bike you may get something on your glove and if you transfer some solvent to the unprotected screen you will have to live with it for ever, but not if you install this protective cover. Have a great day!

No instructions were shipped with the product. Some of these you have to put on wet and some dry. As this one was adhesive backed I put it on dry. I got many little bubbles and eventually just thew it away. I emaild the company to find out what I should have done and did not get any response. You may as well burn $10.

I gave this item a very negative review. The company emailed and then called me to ask me to withdraw the review. They offered me free product or a refund. I didn't withdraw the review because it was true. Now it has disappeared. Hmmmmm!

3.0 out of 5 stars user error, June 17, 2011

This review is from: Lexerd - Garmin Zumo 665 660 TrueVue Anti-Glare GPS Screen Protector (Electronics)
When I got this and tried to put it on my Zumo 665, I got it on crooked. The second and third times I tried to put in on the screen were the same. I fully admit that this was probably "user error".

I ordered this protector the same time as the Garmin Zumo 660. It does a great job of protecting the screen and helping to cut down glare, as indicated. And, of course, it also helps avoid any inadvertant scratches of the screen. Worthwhile to have. Be sure however to pay attention to the installation instructions: namely that the screen is squeaky clean, and that you are careful to lay the protector on the screen properly so it's straight as once on, it is difficult to remove.
