You can't see the text on the back of the package, so I will copy it here for you:

Non-refillable cartridge licensed for single use only. Return empty cartridge only to Lexmark for
remanufacturing, refilling or recycling. A variable amount of ink remains when this cartridge must be
replaced. Replacement cartridges (14A) sold without those terms are available.

The fact that this is not refillable by the consumer AND that it requires replacement when there is STILL INK IN THE CARTRIDGE makes me think it is just a way to scam money out of the consumer.

There's absolutely no problem with the ink cartridge. But within 1 day of installing this brand new cartridge into the printer & after only printing 2 pages!... the printer has started informing me that it's time to order a NEW cartridge because this one is getting LOW on ink!

Just don't trust the software or the printer to "tell the truth" about how much ink is in the cartridges!

This cartridge was very easy to install once we found out how to do it. The owner of the printer had lost the directions and it some time before I found out how to install. Once installed it worked very nicely. Thank you
