some more specs on the P4350, Dell ink = Lexmark ink,
This review is from: Lexmark P4350 All-in-One Photo Printer with USB Cable (22D0284) (Office Product)
Here's some missing info that mayhaps belongs moreso in the Information section, but I'll add it here. The Lexmark P4350 is the same as the P6250 except it has a smaller LCD (1.7" instead of 2.5"). It is Mac OSX compatible, TWAIN compatible, XP compatible. It will probly be compatible with Win XP64 as is, or at least have later drivers for it, since it is a newer current model. It has superior technology to other brands because: it has printer heads on the cartridge (unlike Epson, Brother, some canon & hp models), no chip resets for refills (like Epson). Thus, the heads can be cleaned with a q-tip if needed. The ink is half pigment, half dye. You get approx 10-15mL of ink in a #32/33 cartridge (unlike some HPs: 5mL for $40!) and 15-20mL on ink in a high yield #34/35 cartridge. The #31 photo cart is optional and has black/light cyan/light magenta. It uses 2 carts at a time, unlike other brands that use seperate tanks that freeze when just one color runs out. Ink can be had for cheaper by buying: hi-yield carts (#34 k #35 tri-color), buying them in 2-paks, or buying the Value Kit (incl #35 + 140 sheets photo paper, for just $5 more). FYI: Dell uses rebranded Lexmarks. Replace the Lex caps with your old Dell ones and you can use the Lex ink. So, search www for your Dell/Lex model and keep your old Dell caps. The #30 series of inks are current models used in a dozen models, so you know they'll be around for a while and cheaper, unlike other more specific part numbers. All lexmarks come with a 2 biz day exchange 1 yr warranty via courier, no RMA # required. TS is open M-Sat. Any printers over $200cdn are serviced on-site with Lexpress warranty. This is one of the few models that has it all: LCD, 6-in-1 card, printer heads, 2 tanks, 3-in-1 print scan copy, OSX, cheaper ink, under $200. Does not come with Starter cartridges from what I hear. Comes with full #31 & 33 I think.

A great printer at a great price. I have been using it for a while and it is very reliable and the supplies are reasonably priced.

This item worked great for me until I had to change the ink. When I replaced the ink cartridge with a brand new one, the printer would not rec9ognize it. It kept telling me that it was the wrong ink cartridge. I did the usual: turned off and back on, tried restarting my computer, I took out the cartridge and reseated it several times. I even unplugged the printer and plugged it back in. I eventually put it in the closet and after a few months when I needed to scan some items, I took it out and this time it recognized the cartridge. It worked fine for a while and when it was time to change cartridges, the same problem occurred again. Works wonderfully as a scanner, but thumbs down on printing.
