Product Description

Lexol Leather pH Cleaner Spray seep-cleans dirt, oil and leftover perspiration salts that build up and destroy leather interiors. Lexol Cleaner is adjusted to the pH of leather, so it will not harm the finish or fibers of the leather. It rinses easily and quickly with water, leaving no residue or dulling film. Apply with either a damp Lexol Applicator Sponge or a damp soft cloth to work up a foam that lifts out the dirt. Rinse thoroughly with another clean, wet sponge or cloth. Once all traces of cleaner have been rinsed off, pat dry with a soft, 100% cotton towel. To keep your interior in top condition, clean the leather about twice a year and immediately follow with Lexol Conditioner. Do not use on suede.

The Lexol pH cleaner worked extremely well to clean automotive leather upholstery and surfaces. Just follow the instructions on the bottle and it does a fantastic job. Always use the pH cleaner before you apply the Lexol conditioner since you don't want to apply new oils over existing dirt. The pH cleaner comes out as a clear liquid that is more viscous than water. I recommend using a terry cloth sponge to create more lather than just using a cotton cloth or terry cloth. I have tried several over the counter leather cleaner/conditioners and Lexol beats them all.

Pros: Cleans leather without drying it. Very easy to use.

Cons: The product is a bit expensive and hard to find compared to the over-the-counter products, but it should be the only product to buy and Amazon carries it!

Overall: If you own any leather accessories or cars with leather interiors, Lexol pH cleaner and Lexol conditioner should be on your list.

Lexol leather cleaner is useful if you regularly clean your seats. For heavily soiled leather, I would skip this and get something stronger because the cleaning power is REALLY mild even with agitation. The primary benefit of the Lexol Leather Cleaner is that it does a good job of making the leather supple and smooth, better than most of the competition. For the price it is a really good value. but don't expect any miracles if your leather has moderate stains.

I used some of this around the inside door handle of a lexus RX330. It withered (wrinkled) the leather and I guess somehow compromised the padding under that leather. I would like to hear from anyone else whom this may have happened to.

20/20 hind site. It says on the bottle, "Not recommended for suede or delicate leather." I did not realize that my side panels were "delicate leather". When all else fails, read the directions.

I wore new jeans on my very light leather seats in my car, and the dye rubbed off onto my seats. NOTHING else would clean it off. Nothing else except Lexol! I used the cleaner spray followed by Lexol conditioner and my seats look like new again. All the denim dye came right off. Thanks!

I had tried several "leather" cleaning products on my livingroom sofa, none of them worked very well. I remembered having used Lexol on my saddles and figured I'd give it a try. The Lexol worked great and I followed it up with the Lexol conditioner which also worked very well.

There are so numerous spray leather cleaner and conditioner out there and I was curious to see how different they are.

Here are my findings:

1. All 5 spray leather cleaner and conditioner are priced between $7-9 for a 16 FL ounce bottle. This one is actually 16.9 FL OZ and cheaper than some of the other brands, so a good value.
2. This one has no particular scent, which I prefer.
3. The bottle holds nicely in the hands, it's very ergonomically designed.
4. The spray nozzle is the nicest and best (big, sturdy, fine mist) of all the spray bottles I have tried.
5. Since this is a cleaner only, you should follow with a leather conditioner (also stated on the back of the bottle), which I find a bit of a hassle. I'm a busy working mom and prefer to use a leather cleaner and conditioner in ONE, such as as the WhooHoo-Clean Leather Conditioner and Cleaner in One. Luxurious Leather Lotion for Your Designer and Fine Leather Goods. Protect Your Leather Investment. 15 FL OZ. Made in USA!.
6. Because it's in a spray format, it's good for large leather items such as a sofa, which I used it for. For smaller and more expensive leather goods, I prefer to use the WhooHoo-Clean leather care. If I pay several hundred or thousands of dollars for a leather item, I want to keep it new looking for a long time!

In my opinion, any real leather can and will benefit from a good leather care product (with high customer reviews!). Think about it, leather is like skin, it will get dry with time and particularly usage. Just pick one that fits your budget and use it regularly!

This is a great product for cleaning leather accessories. I have purchased many leather cleaning products before to care for my vintage leather purses and jackets but this one seems to work both differently and well. This product has been used on my purses which are older leathers and italian handbags, belts, 70's leather jackets and my boots/shoes. I followed the advice of others that posted on amazon to use this product in conjunction with the conditioner. Great results and would recommend to anyone.

Used it once to clean my leather couches and chair, took out all the grease and dirt. It didn't dry out the leather.
