This frying pan is a good size, but food sticks to it and it is very hard to clean. The handle on the cover gets very hot and now after less than 6 months of use the bottom is bubbling. I think it is very poor quality for a frying pan that cost $l00.00. I do like the stainless steel handles on the frying pan itself, they stay cool and won't break off.

I recently purchased this. The top handle that I pick up gets very hot to the touch. Unfortunately, this is a safety issue and I find this a manufacturing defect. The product would be fine except for this issue. I will be returning the product in exchange for another.

This cooker works very well as a slow cooker as well as a fryer and general all around electric skillet. The thermostat seems acurate to what the listed temperatures are on the probe. But use it as a slow cooker when you are home and can keep an eye on it. I love mine. I do not use grease it it, I use spray. And it is big enough to cook really large roasts. Seasons up nicely.

I first used a Leyse 31101 Stainless Steel High Dome Electric Fry Pan when visiting a friend's home, and we were making dinner together. I needed a fry pan to sautee the vegetables, and she hauled out this gorgeous shiny stainless steel electric frying pan. The vegetables came out looking and smelling wonderful!! When I washed it after dinner, and saw how easily it cleaned up to brand new looking again, I knew I wanted one!!

I ran into a problem trying to get one ... apparently this model isn't made anymore. My first attempt to buy one, resulted in the seller substituting an "equal or better" version ... but it was a different model, a Leyse Wok, more bowl shaped with slanted sides. Now I'm sure I'd love to have that as well, I first wanted the deep straight sided fry pan with the high dome, and at the $168 price tag, I couldn't afford to buy both, and most definitely wanted the Leyse Model 31101.

I just checked with Amazon, as well as other Googled sites, and apparently the Leyse brand is no longer available. This is extremely regrettable, and now I wish I had kept the substituted Wok, and then continued to search for the Leyse 31101, which I ultimately found, and purchased. I've had mine for over a year now, and still absolutely LOVE IT!! I have used it at least 35 times, and it still works and looks as beautiful as it did when I took it out of the box. If you ever find a Leyse 31101 and want a fry pan capable of cooking a whole chicken ... grab it. I'm sure you won't regret it.

I ordered this Leyse 31101 Electric frying pan that was supposed to be constructed of 18/10 Stainless Steel but actually was made of 18/4 material. The manufacture stopped making 18/10 sometime ago. I returned the product and was happy to receive my entire purchase and shipping costs. Thanks
