With Zep's first six LPs represented by one track apiece Lez Zeppelin deliver one of the better CDs of 07 (a year that's promised more than it's delivered so far). You get better-than-competent versions of 69 to 75 classics plus two decent original instrumentils: "on the rocks" (which sounds very similar to "custard pie") and "winter sun" (much like "black mountain side") But the REAL star of this album is singer Sarah McLellan. Comming across like a blue-eyed soul version of Ann Wilson- with a hint of Janas Joplin- she makes Lez's take of "since I've been loving you" more intence than the original! My only real complaint of this album is it's too short! Nothing from "Presence" or "In Through the Out Door" is included. (C'mon, Ladies, those albums aren't THAT bad!) I would also have liked to hear Lez' takes of "god times bad times", "dazed n confused", "livin lovin maid" "immagrent song", "when the levee breaks", "over the hills", "no quarter" and "houses of the holy". (Notice I didn't say "Stairway"!) Here's hoping for a secend album soon.

absolutely amazing! it'll blow your mind, rock your soul and make you play more air guitar than you ever have before. buy this cd- a talented group that won't let you down.

I saw Lez Zeppelin in concert at the El Rey theater in Los Angeles and they were amazing. I danced and jumped so hard to their music it was an amazing expreience. I ordered the cd the following day and have been playing it everyday as I sit in my office and do my work. The recording is as good as their live performance. If you love listening to Led you must go out and see Lez Zeppelin next time their in town. The lead vocalist has the most enchanting spell binding voice I have ever heard. The lead guitarist shreds the strings so hard you literally watch them burn. The drummer wails and slams and keeps a hard beat along with the bassist. All in all, you will love this cd. Play it loud at home and dance. Play it loud in your office and dance in the halls. Love you girls.

Amazing group of women that have found a niche not often seen in rock-paying tribute to one of the 70's all time rock bands Led Zeppelin. Between the growling and sensual performance of their lead singer to their multi-talented female string master-these ladies can groove. Bring it on! Do yourself a favor and see them live next time they are in town.

This is the most incredible cd. The girls have an incredible edge. I like them even better than Led Zeppelin!

The Lez Zepplin concept is great, but it would not be doable without someone who can cover Jimmy Page. No small job. Steph Paynes is flawless. Just magnificent!

saw them live in london feb 07 if that had been captured here I would have given 5/5 seems that Kashmir as it always did and will captures the true magic of the zep

I originally saw these girls at the Cat's Cradle in North Carolina, and they rocked my face off. Yes they are a cover band but one of the if not the best cover band out there the only difference between these girls and Led Zeppelin is better production quality and a slightly less gravelly vocalist. I HIGHLY recommend this album to anyone who likes Led Zeppelin or want to know how they sound.

Rock on Lez Zeppelin

These gals rock! I've seen them in concert and they blow everyone away with there talent and energy. And this CD will blow you away also. Great sound and the musicianship is topnotch. If you love the original Led Zep, you'll love Lez Zep.
