Great book!But not for everyone...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Liar (Fearless, No. 10) (Mass Market Paperback)
This was an amazing book! Francine Pascal has done it again;and has even done it better! This book tells much about Gaia's new life without Mary, and how she must deal with Heather's love for her best friend,Ed.This books takes us inside her world to see the real Gaia, and is a must for any Fearless-fan. Hold on;there's a "BUT" to this review! This is an exciting book, but not for anybody. It is fairly graphic, and you should read the first 9 books in the series before you decide to commit. So if you like this new series-go buy it!

Another great Fearless book...,

Gaia has just about come to terms with her friend’s murder and is now starting to move on in her life. Mary’s death has left a void that will never be filled, but at least it has brought Gaia nearer to Ed Fargo. Only now Ed and Heather Gannis, Gaia’s arch-nemesis are becoming closer… how will Gaia react? On the other hand, it looks like it’s the end for Sam and Heather … Gaia should be thrilled, but it still doesn’t bring her any nearer to the possibility of a relationship with Sam. Now Loki is getting closer to Gaia and Sam is beginning to suspect Ella…This series just keeps getting more and more complicated as it goes on. As questions are answered, more are posed and the characters’ relationships become more confused with every book. While not one of the best instalments in the Fearless saga, “Liar” is still one of my favourites and I definitely think the later books of the series are better than the earliest. Overall, this was an exciting, entertaining story that will keep you reading right up until the end. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the previous nine books in the series.

Another excellant Fearless book.,
This review is from: Liar (Fearless, No. 10) (Mass Market Paperback)
Gaia's pretty much recovered from her friend Mary's death. But she is devestated when she begins to believe that her other friend, Ed, may be getting involved romantically with Gaia's enemy, Heather. And Gaia doesn't understand why Sam continues to let his deteriorating relationship with Heather drag on - it's obviously over. Meanwhile, Sam discovers that Gaia's foster mother, Ella, whom he had a drunken one-night stand with, not realizing who she was, is involved in some kind of nasty scheme, and he decides to follow her. The one thing that really bothered me with this book is the way Francine Pascal continues to drag on the Gaia/Sam thing. Get them together already! Otherwise, I loved this book. I highly reccomend it if you enjoyed the first nine books, but otherwise they should be read in order.

Were are we and were are we going!,
This review is from: Liar (Fearless, No. 10) (Mass Market Paperback)
Of all the 10 books in the series this book, leaves a lot to be desired. On a whole the book is slow and forgetable. Honestly, the last 9 books I breezed though and was sad to see them end. While with this book I had to forced myself to read it, just so that I wouldn't miss informaton I would need for future books. Here are some things that bothered me. 0. I could not find a plot for the book. 1. Gaia does a lot of un-Gaia like things. Such as invasion of privacy, this is so unlike Gaia because of the way Gaia fanatical about her privacy. Ie remember the truth or dare game, she refused to pick truth so she would not have to answer questions, about her life. But then Gaia ended the game after Mary dared her to tell her a truth. 2. After 9 books it is a let down when there is little fighting, hell there wasn't even stragey or insight provided in this book. 3. Tom Moore is still sulking in the shadows, but is becoming less clueless 4. Loki is doing un-Loki type things. 5. There was so many sub and contributing plot lines, that it caused the book to lack focus. IE. Heather's sister, Ed's sisters engagement, the Ed Heather realationship. George's incorrect suspicions about Ella, Ella's obsession with Sam, Sam's guilt,Tom Moore thoughts on Sam, Tom's need to go after Loki, Loki feelings for Ella. Everyone in this book has an incorrect view of what is really going on around them. 6. I am still confused about Loki having Mary and her aunt killed during book 8, yet neither Tom or George has connected the deaths as Loki's doing. (What suprises me even more is that although, Gaia has been trained in all kind of arts, she could not trace her father using the computer. But Mary's unpaid Libraian Aunt, made little work of locating Tom Moore's apartment in NYC.) But on a whole the only way this book could redeem itself is that in all the stuff that happened there is a major plot point.

this book was more like a soap opera. heather and ed are gettingcloser, sam is trying to avoid ella, ella is using their one night together to hold over sam's head because he does not want gaia to find out. loki is so determined to get gaia on his side that he starts monitoring her himself. this book just jumps around too much for me. i guess after the last book, poor pascal ran out of steam. no 9 was great. this one left me kind of spacey. i hope 11 is better.

Trust forms yet another bump in the road for Gaia, her best friend and her worst enimies most likely becomming more than just friends. It kinda makes you feel bad for Gaia. Just when things are starting to act normal she finds out all these things that shake her from her own reality. This book gives a major plot change in the series and is pulling towards a thrilling conclusion in the 12th book.

A great addition to the Fearless series,

I have been reading Francine PAscal since I was in junior high. One of the original SVH readers. I know I've dated myself now, but I have to say Fearless is a great series and this book is just as good as the others! I know it's suppose to be only 12 books, but I'm hoping it goes on for awhile!

Wow... this book is just so exciting. I am making predictions for the next few books, but I'm sure I haven't guessed right yet.
At the end of this book everybody's relationship is messed up. Gaia is mad at Ed. Sam isn't even talking to Heather, but it's not like Heather notices because she's spending so much time with Ed. Ella is basically flushing her "career" down the toilet, and George is completely oblivious. And Loki is still creepy, but that's normal. Not my absolute favorite book- notice the four stars?- but it's still great.

what is it about these books?,

I still can't put these books down, 10 books later. They justkeep you going, and this one is no acception. Through this book seemedto be lacking something that I can't place my finger on that the other books seem to have, it was still good enough for me to read through it in less then a day. Read, you won't be disappointed. But do read the other ones first.

At first, when I started to read the Fearless books, it was VERY confusing to me, and I thought that I had made a big mistake... boy, was I wrong! I've read the 10 books that are already out and I am anticipating what will happen in the books to come. This serious is the only one at home that I have read that continues throughout the books like one big story. I encourage all of you out there to start with Fearless #1 and read all 10 of them right away! I give all of these books 2 thumbs up!
