I needed twenty glasses for a brunch and didn't want to spend a lot, so I bought several boxes of glasses at Ikea. Most of the glasses broke within a few months, and the ones that didn't break were so scratched up, I was embarrassed to put them out. I tried again with glasses from Pier 1 and had the same experience.

I (finally) did some research and learned that these Libbey glasses are used by restaurants, so I knew they'd be tough. Sure enough, they've held up beautifully. Not one has broken and they still look like new. They also feel more substantial in the hand. We like the goblets so much, we bought two boxes of Libbey tumblers.

These are commercial restaurant style water goblets. Nice thick glass that won't break in the dishwasher. Very simple classic styling. I use them for both everyday glasses and as water glasses when I have a fancy dinner party. They are fine with our crystal, and I love that they can go in the dishwasher. After washing dozens of crystal glasses, these are a treat. And, they are so cheap -- that if they break, no need to worry.

I am a southern girl and love me some sweet tea!LOL... I use these glasses as dinner glasses each night now. I have been looking for a set of goblets for a while now. I worried that the glasses would be thin and fragile but they are not. They are sturdy enough to use daily. I have washed them by hand and in the dishwasher with no problems. I hope this review helps someone thinking of making the $20 purchase. It is well worth it because you get 12 glasses. I also did a shipping review because none of my goblets were broken or chipped. I gave shipping and my purchase 5 stars each.

I was a little hesitant to purchase glasses online, however these arrived perfectly wrapped! Don't let the photos fool you, these glasses are a sturdy set, feel great to hold with a medium weight and hold a lot. I am currently using them for water, or iced tea but really any beverage would work. I am very pleased with the quality. Although they are a bit large, they wash superbly in the dishwasher and store nicely. Even my husband who can't get excited about glasses loved them. We have them displayed in our cabinets behind glass and they look great. I think the value surpasses the price.

I have been unable to find this particular goblet in finer stores. The weight and size are perfect. The stem is not to tall (tall stems increase the possiblity of them being knocked over accidently). Great item! Great price!

We purchased 5 cases of these glasses for our wedding. It was cheaper than renting. They are sturdy, practical, and appealing to the eye. They were multifunctional... used for wine, margaritas, cokes, iced tea, lemonade, and water. Perfect for our casual outdoor wedding!

I am happy to find just the right goblets for water. They are the kind you would find in an upscale restraunt however they are priced affordable enough for everyday use. This is my second set, the first was from crate and barrel and were more expensive but these are the exact same for less.

The glasses came packaged very well & intact. I ordered on a Sunday, and with 2-day shipping, they came on Wednesday. The only complaint I have is they are listed as 16 ounce glasses when they realistically hold only about 12-14 ounces because no ever fills glasses up to the rim. Other than that, they are heavy and the glass is thick making them appear to be very durable. FYI: The storage box is the cardboard box that the glasses came in.
