These glasses seem to be made very well and include a decent selection. I deducted a star for variety though, 9 of the beer glasses are so similarly shaped that it really doesn't make a big difference which one you use. What I would have like to see is a typical north Europe tapered beer glass and a weizen or wit beer glass. A real treat would have been a trappist style goblet, but I digress. All in all not a bad set for the money.

I was very interested in these glasses when I saw the package at a local beer store. Of course, I ordered it from Amazon with free Amazon Prime shipping! The English "pint" glass is smaller than I expected, but it still holds a 12 ounce beer with a nice head.

Package arrived the day after I ordered it (ordered after 4:00 PM with supposedly two-day shipping, no less!) thrown viciously onto my porch by the FedEx troll. Despite my fears (expressed as a sharp intake of breath and an "I'm-watching-you" gesture of fingers to eyes) the glasses inside were fine, as the inner box was surrounded by three (!) layers of top-notch, tight bubblewrap. And now I can drink until my liver dies, and do it in style!

The glasses themselves are beautiful, and aside from a little cardboard dust in a couple of them, arrived in pristine condition. A quick word of warning, though: the pint glasses are about 25% smaller than my American Pint glass, which means that they can just about contain a single bottle's worth of beer as long as you don't pour as to create excessive head. This is fine, but don't expect to get an entire can of Murphy's in there.

The pilsner and hefeweizen glasses are a bit bigger than the "pint" glasses, both by volume and by height, but they're still a little shorter and broader than is typical for the style. This is also unlikely to matter particularly, but you may want to prepare an alternative glass before you have a beer-snob friend come over for a pint.

I got this set for my boyfriend for his birthday. He LOVES them. They're well made and very classy-looking. He loves beer so they're perfect (though he's not much of a pilsner-drinker, other beers can be presented in these without too many connoisseurs noticing). There are two things to know, though. 1. The 'English Pint' is not a British Imperial Pint glass. At all. It's the smallest of the glasses. 2. Two of the glass-types look VERY similar. You can't tell them apart until you hold them side by side. Still, great find.

These glasses are great quality, and make your drinking experience truly wonderful. Absolutely no complaints, just brilliance!

I bought these as a gift for my brother and according to the thank you note, he is "very excited to try his new beer glasses". If you are looking for something for the serious beer drinker you may want to go with a higher end product. But for someone just getting started, this is a great product.

These glasses were exactly what I was looking for at an unbelievable (but true) price compared to other merchants. I thought I was going to have to give up drinking beer before I found these . . .

I've been using these glasses for about six months now. Luckily, I haven't broken any of them. They're all pretty heft, and are great for serving beer. Now that I have a 4-tap kegerator, I'm glad that I have so many glasses!

12 glasses for the price you'd pay at the dollar store? That sounds like a good deal to me. I can't even find beer glasses like this at the dollar store.

I haven't had any problems with the glasses and they're great for stepping up the classiness of Friday nights drinking with the guys. Instead of drinking straight out of the can or whatever cup we can find, now we've all got matching beer glasses. The best part is if someone has a little to much to drink and breaks one of the glasses I'd have no problem ordering another set.

Bottom line: Great buy at a price you can't beat

I needed beer mugs for an Oktoberfest Party with a keg. Since I needed quite a few, I did not want to spend a fortune. These glasses were the right price and worked perfectly. We set them in a cooler with ice next to the keg and they were nice and chilled. I realize a true Oktoberfest mug should be the 1 liter mug, but most people prefer something smaller and these were great for this occasion and will be for future get-togethers.
