These aren't your thin, flibbetygibbet wine goblets that you pick up at your local discount store. They're sturdy enough to withstand the dishwasher, as long as you see to it that they're in the top rack. The glasses work great for reds or whites. I'm not some millionaire who's enjoying the best wines in the world. I like a glass of Yellowtail once in a while, and these glasses do the job. The packaging was good too, because not a single one was broken when they arrived.

I ordered 2 sets - goblets and wine glasses - and they were shipped together in 1 big, well-padded box. Everything arrived safely. The boxes the glasses are shipped in are sturdy ideal for storage if you're ordering these primarily for party use. (They do have holes for handles where dust could get in, so I guess they're not perfectly ideal...)

A great value for the price. I'm very happy to have weaned my parties off plastic and paper cups!

These are durable wine glasses for everyday use, but feel heavy and chunky if you are used to fancier thinner-glass versions.

I have had high end Waterford to low end Dollar Store varieties and these are JUST RIGHT! You don't have to worry about your guests breaking a glass that will cost big $$$'s to replace, or have to be embarrassed by the cheap ones that break if you toast someone or something. They come in a nifty little storage box that isn't too unsightly, and arrived all in one piece. I have accidentally dropped one on my tile floor while loading the dishwasher (no I had not had too much wine :) ) and was amazed that it did not break!! I would definitely recommend these to anyone who entertains somewhat regularly where wine is the offering. They won't embarrass you and will definitely surprise you! Cheers!!

I ordered these because they are inexpensive, sturdy, and versatile wine glasses. I do wine tastings so I needed glasses that were inexpensive and sturdy. The bonus on these is that they come packed in a handy carrying box (12 to a box). This was a big selling point for me. None were broken, also a plus, but with glassware, you can never be certain that they will arrive unbroken.

A perfect example of how American owned manufacturers who STILL manufacturer products and employ American workers in the US beat imports hands down!
The quality is excellent as well as knowing that the profits will go to Toledo, NOT some foreign company offshore.

These are our everyday wine glasses. They wash well - fit in the dishwasher and at this great price nobody has lost an heirloom if a mishap takes place! But honestly they are a nice weight - not too heavy like some less expensive wineglasses. I really searched for glasses that would look nice and still fit in the dishwasher.

I just purchased the Libbey 12 -piece wine glass and the 12-piece goblet set. I'm getting ready for a dinner party and knew I didn't have enough matching water and wine glasses for everyone, so I went to Amazon to see what was available. For $40 I have a complete set of twelve for both wine & water....AND they arrived in beautiful, sturdy, divided storage boxes. How great is that??! HIGHLY recommended for anyone who does regular entertaining and doesn't want to worry about caring for or breaking expensive glassware. These are nice-looking, sturdy, and very practical.

This is a cheap, convenient way to get adequate glasses. They are sturdy and nice to clunk around in a crowded party/kitchen. They aren't Riedel, which is why 12 glasses cost less than one of those. They aren't disappointing.

The glasses arrived and none was broken. They are sturdy so you don't have to worry that they will break easily, dishwasher safe and they look elegant. Very price friendly for the glasses..happy with the buy.
