We ordered these glasses because we frequently have people over who want hot tea or coffee. We didn't like the coffee cups that came with our daily china (who wants to fool with cups/saucers and a bunch of folks walking around the house spilling?). So, we looked for mugs and found these. We needed quite a few as we often have 8-10 people drinking tea/coffee. These are perfect, have a large opening between mug and handle for larger hands, arthritic hands etc. easy to grip and hold. The mugs are very solid, maybe a tad heavy if you want something like fine china (these are definitely not for you). They would be great for church groups, bridge clubs and other "get-together". We are very pleased with them, shipping was fast and they all arrived safely - thank you Amazon!

Arrived fast and all undamaged, properly packaged. These mugs are solidly made and are great for drinking hot chocolate, coffee, tea, etc. And I like the fact you can see the colors of what you just made and how much is left. The whole family likes them and I thought 12 would be to many...silly me!

i really like these coffee mugs. i can see how much i am making in the cup, like hot chocolate. easy to hold.

Shipping was perfect timing. The mugs were beautiful, better than I expected and high quality. They're a bit expensive, but I'd totally buy them again when I need more!!!

They are probably good glasses if you use them at home. Besides being able to see and feel the seam of the glass on the handle. Handle is rectangle ish in shape. Glasses look nice, but working at a coffee shop they are not for us. We have had three have cracks in them so far, none all the way down or anywhere but the rim. Do not know if this is a design flaw or what, But if the top was as solid as the bottom it would be nice. Once again, we use these everyday and wash them multiple times, so for home use they would be ok. But because of the seams and chipping, I would not recommend these for commercial use. Once I find better ones I will get those.

Also as a comparison. I use a glass mug I have had for years, think I got it from a hotel, and it has never had a chip or anything, it is also thinner walls. So getting nice glass with no seams is possible, these are just not them.

The cup part of the mug is good quality but I do not like the handle at all. The seam on the inner handle sticks out a lot and is very uncomfortable to hold.

Libbey 13-1/2-Ounce Flare Glass Coffee Mugs, Box of 12, ClearI bought two of these in my local variety store. I thought I would like the Libbey's glass with the straight sides but this one, 13.5 oz., felt more comfortable.
The seam in the handle doesn't bother me. You can hardly feel it. It's a good thing not to drink out of ceramics from China. The price is good.

Libby makes a great stylish glass mug to compliment any decor. They are a great size, not too big, not too small! You will use them every day!

Nice mugs...wished they were a little bit larger, but overall serve the purpose. They hold up very well, no pooling in the dishwasher and no worry about cracking.

These mugs are nice and heavy,and hold quite a bit. The only problem is the seam inside the handle, which is uncomfortable for your hand. Fortunately, my spouse has a flex-shaft hand tool that was able to smooth out the ridges. So now, they are more comfortable to use. You would think the manufacturer could do that too.

We like that they are glass, that won't put anything into your drink. We have had ceramics in the past, and the glazing always wore off after a while. We wondered what we were getting in our drinks as it wore down. No worries now!
