I recently purchased this set and found it to be of very high quality. Each mug is quite heavy and the glass is flawless. I expect they could take a significantly harder impact before shattering compared to the more lightweight mugs I have owned in the past.

I keep one in the freezer so I can enjoy a frosty mug with my favorite lager. The thicker glass means a colder mug longer.

Just alil bit to small. you can't put a whole can of beer within the cup. but close enough.

This is great beer mug. I drink from it all the time. Its stays cold for a long time if you stick in the freezer and then put a cold beer in it. The only problem is that even with a slow, well angled pour, you still end up with a bit of beer in the bottom of your bottle/can. Minor qualm considering I am going to drink it anyway, but I would have liked it to be even two ounces bigger for such a nice mug.

These are the beer mugs I always buy the beer lovers in my family! They are nice and heavy and frost well in the freezer! Go for it! You will not be disappointed!

These steins are exactly as described. I got them for my husband to have root beer floats in, and he loves them. They are nice and hefty.

The original manufacturers box containing the glasses was shipped within a much larger box full of "popcorn" Styrofoam. 2 of the glasses were broken. I could hear them rattling as I picked up the package on my doorstep, so they must have been broken prior to packaging by Amazon. The cardboard cross-piece that is supposed to separate them was not arranged properly, leaving the glasses loose to bang together.
There is little point in my returning the broken glasses to the manufacturer, since the cost of return (~$10) is a significant fraction of the base price($15). emails to Libbey customer support were ignored. The 2 glasses that survived are OK.

These seem to serve well enough for my homebrew on tap.

The main problem is that the base has a hole in the bottom that seems to be moulded specially to allow you to remove a stubborn twist-off bottle cap. I guess this could be considered a convenience, but it also collects water and debris and never gets really clean. In fact the outside of the bottom of the mug always comes out of our dishwasher coated with lime and/or soap scum.

Not a major problem from a practical standpoint but it isn't pleasing aesthetically. The mug loses a star for that. It would be helpful if the product description said something about this.

I ordered these beer steins as a gift for my (future) brother-in-law for Christmas. The steins were good, except that I was unable to give him two of them because one was cracked and the other had some sort of glass imperfection that looked bad. Being Christmastime and not having time to deal with the whole return-shipping nonsense, I just gave him the two good ones and threw the other two out. I was not pleased, to say the least. I don't know if the crack happened during shipping or what, but if the company is going to ship glass, they should pack their products well; and the imperfect one shouldn't even have been sent!

These are very attractive and sturdy beer steins. Keep them in your freezer and you can have a great time with some frosted beer steins.

I got this for my brother-in-law last christmas and he still insists on showing every new person who comes in the house his frosted mugs.

These mugs are awesome!!!!!They are simple but a good buy.Good gift for guys.Something different to surprise ur special friend.The thumb rest feature was loved by my husband and it is very convenient to hold the glass.Thumbs up!!!!!!!!
