Margaritas are my favorite mixed drink. They are wonderful to serve for summer parties and there are plenty of interesting recipes for them. This pitcher set is perfect for serving margaritas at home when entertaining. The lip of the pitcher has an ice guard. The glasses are generous and well-shaped. The price is fantastic.

My favorite margarita is a "Ninfarita" from Ninfa's in Dallas and Houston. I think I've got a version of it here, not as good as Ninfa's but close, perhaps.

2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
3 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice
9 ounces gold tequila
2 ounces Triple Sec liquor
1 ounce lemon simple syrup*

*Syrup --1 cup sugar in 3/4 cup water with lemon zest or natural lemon oil flavoring. Heat til sugar dissolves. Strain out zest. Cool.

kosher salt
lime wedges or lemon wedges for the glass rim.

1 serving is 3 oz of the above, shaken with ice.

You can even make them "virgin" if you don't drink alcohol. Leave out the Triple Sec and Tequila, add water--yes, it is lemonade, really, but if you have guests that don't drink, they will be pleased.

This set is both fun and affordable. The 6 glasses are well made and easy to clean. I haven't had any problems with them.

If you buy some matching stemware or glasses, you can use the pitcher for iced tea or lemonade. You'd have a cute serving set, and save some money.

The glasses are great for sherbet punch or ice cream sundaes. I put a scoop of rainbow sherbet in the glass, pour some sparkling white grape juice over it, and there is a tasty drink/dessert in an attractive glass.

A little trick I learned, if you drip the edge of the glass in sugar, you can use colorful sugar (usually available next to the sprinkles at the grocery store) for a more festive look.

I bought this glasses/pitcher set after reading the reviews. The bulk of the negative ones mentioned the packaging wasn't great, and as a result, they often arrived damaged. Well, I can see why they'd say the packaging is bad--the lack of padding was alarming. I guess I lucked out with mine. But the good part: Amazon will take back damaged products. You don't have to pay for the return shipping, and the whole process takes under a week. Yay, customer service!
If you're looking for a last minute gift, don't get it because it might get damaged. But if you're looking for a present for yourself, or a present for a couple months in the future, you absolutely cannot do any better than this little Margarita pitcher/glasses set. It looks a *lot* more expensive than $10 and is sure to impress anyone who enjoys pretty drinks. I'm probably going to buy like 10 of them and distribute them to everyone at Christmas, their birthdays, etc. Enjoy!

Ok for $9.99 you just cannot pass up this set!! It arrived to my door as perfect as it looked in the pictures. The packaging was excellent!!

For the price the seam everyone keeps mentioning doesn't bother me one bit!!

Bottom line is they look great and at that price I won't cry if someone accidentally breaks one!

I ordered this set a while ago and it's still going strong. Margaritas are always a staple at my summer parties and this inexpensive set is great. For the price I'm never hesitant to bring the pitcher or glasses outside. The pitcher is large enough to hold quite a few refills! The rims on the glasses are easy to salt and the glasses are comfortable to hold and carry. I'm buying another set to have on hand as an inexpensive hostess gift! It arrived within days packaged well in perfect condition. The pitcher can be used for iced tea, lemonade... the glasses can double as an attractive way to serve creative desserts... A great buy.

Although I was cautious when first ordering this product, after having read all of the previous reviews, I decided to take a chance anyway. The first set I received had a few shattered glasses. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to get another set in time, as I was giving it as a gift. I immediately emailed Amazon requesting replacement glasses, and the next morning I received a response stating that although they cannot send individual glasses, a new set would be sent out overnight. Within a day of the shipment, I received the new set, and none of the glasses were broken. It is a great product for the money, and the short-stemmed glasses prevent them from easily tipping over. The glass is durable and sturdy, and after having compared this product to other very similar maragarita sets, I would have to say that this one is the best value for the money.
Don't be dissuaded by other reviews, because if it does arrive damaged, Amazon is very quick and efficient with a solution. Just be sure to order in plenty of time to allow for such possibilities.

I had 3 weddings to go to last month and I gave each of the couples this set. Pair it up with some margarita mix or your favorite recipe and it makes a great gift. It's a great set and a great price and I didn't have any problems with breakage. I checked each before wrapping them and they were all fine.

I'm not sure who is at fault, maybe UPS. But I ordered this product and opened the box and got pieces of glass on me. I then returned it and requested another, and as soon as I move the box, I could hear broken glass. I can't say whether it's a great product or not, cause it always arrives in pieces.

I have ordered this set twice and have thus far been unable to try it out because both times it arrived at the door as a broken mess.

Never received this set. Unfortunately is was damaged in transit and I had it cancelled. Very disappointing as I wanted to give it as a gift.
