I was so excited when I found these. They coordinate with my dishes so well. Many years ago I had this color but they were discontinued and I had to replace them with clear glasses. When I saw this color had returned, I had to buy them. As the previous poster mentioned, they break easier than the average glass. We have only had these a few months, and have lost several glasses already. They either broke in the dishwasher or as we took them out of the cupboard. It is surprising because they seem like such sturdy glasses. I am still glad I have them as they do look so nice with my dishes. We originally bought more than we needed to allow for breakage, but never figured we would break so many so soon. I am thinking of getting another set to keep on hand.

I have had this glassware set for about 2mo now and I love them. They are pretty durable I have had them slip out of my hand more then a few times while washing or hit them on the faucet while transfering them from sink to dishwasher and they have not broken yet! They look just like the picture. Great product!

Received this set of glassware in about 1-week. packed well and nothing was broken. Love the set. I love the heavy bottom of the glasses. Does not turn over easy. thanks

I bought these glasses as a Christmas present for my mother and we absolutely LOVE them! The price was right and as always Amazon shipped them promptly so that they arrived on-time. The mocha tint makes these glasses unique and matches well with our plates, wine glasses etc... The glasses are very well made and fit perfectly in your hand! We have put them through the dishwasher many times and they have held up fine. I cannot imagine these glasses breaking easily as they are very sturdy and slightly heavy. These glasses are extremely versatile and timeless, I'm even buying a set for myself in the smoke color! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality and affordable drink-ware set!

Received a set of glasses for Christmas. Very happy with them. I love the color and they go with my dishes very well. Weighty so they do not tip over easy, can be used in a formal setting or everyday place setting. Would recommend.

I purchased this glass set along with another one that just jumped to 200 dollars as well. They are nice glasses HOWEVER I just paid 25 dollars for them... crazy amazon.

I enjoyed the retro appearance of these glasses, so although I found many reviews (on several internet sites) stating the unreasonable rate of breakage, I ignored them. I mentally dismissed those reviewers as having been "rough" with the glassware, or their kids were loading the dishwasher...something along those lines. I just had to go and purchase them, despite much anecdotal warnings against it, and am now writing my review with my foot jammed in my mouth.

These glasses are very thin, so they break very easily. Not just in the dishwasher (top shelf), but even with handwashing. I am gentle with handwashing all glassware since a long-ago dishwashing accident, so there was no agressive handling. I've owned lots of glassware, and I can assure you the breakage rate of these is just not normal.

Of the 16 pieces, in 5 months I think I'm down to about 7. It's hard to get an accurate count because every time I look, another breaks; therefore I can only eyeball them from a distance and only with my peripheral vision.

They look really great, they do. The amber tint is deliciously retro. But they are far too ephemeral to recommend. I've now restocked my kitchen with the french tempered glass Duralex glassware, which is known for durability AND good looks: Duralex Picardie Tumbler, 12 oz Set of 6 Hpefully I'm done buying glassware for awhile. These glasses are awesome! Great quality and quanity at a great price! I was worried that they would be cheaply made and too thin (easy to break) but I took a gamble and I am glad I did. Theses glasses are beautiful and not to thin but not to thick, so it's not a fear of mine that they are going to break easily! Mocha color is gorgeous!

I am loving these glasses. I purchased two boxes and am very happy with them. Easy to wash in the dishwasher or by hand. They would look great with any shade of brown or tan decor.
