i was one of those who had the reviewed experience of ordering the dishes at this insane price of 2.99 for a set of 12....obviously a misprint, as the deal was too good to be true. HOWEVER, because of the error the company let us keep the dishes (1 of each item...not 12) and refunded the money. And I must tell you the dishes are absolutely beautiful! I am ordering a full set at the corrected price because they are well worth it! It is unfortunate because of this misprint that some people got mad and gave bad reviews causing the rating to be so low!

I wondered why this plate was rated so low - I wondered what on earth could be wrong with it! But what's wrong is that people saw what any rational person would judge to be a typo or a mistake "12 plates for $2.99" and ordered them hoping to get something for nothing and then got mad when they did not and rated the plate so low people just glancing at the rating won't buy it. Nonsense...who really believes you are going to get 12 glass plates from Libby for $2.99? My five stars is just bring the rating up a bit, I've seen these dishes and they are very nice.

I purchased these dishes to have on hand for parties and entertaining. I love them. The dinner plates are large and heavy. I also use them as serveware for cheese and appetizers. They are very heavy glass, so I don't worry about breakage. When they arrived I put them in the dishwasher, NO PROBLEM. They look beautiful on the table and just in a stack on the buffet server. I will order another set of 12 for my holiday entertaining.

buyer beware
I just received my set of plates and they all had some weird brown spots in the glass and the majority of them had scratches as I was taking them out of the box. Read more

I ordered these plates on the 19th and received them the 23rd. FedEx delivered and not a one was so much as chipped. Stickers are relatively easy to remove. Read more
