I just love these glasses. Because of my arthritis my hands are weaker and the slim grip is wonderful. I no longer worry that I will drop my glass. They are beautiful and well balanced as they are heavy on the bottom which also makes them less likely to tip over.

These are very sturdy glasses. The shape makes them look delicate but they stand up well in the dishwasher. They have a beautiful shape and go nicely with any décor.

Love these glasses- very pretty. They reached me in terrible packaging- box ripped, squished and obvious that it had been soaked. By some miracle, none of the glasses were broken. I've been using them and absolutely love them. I'm going to order a 2nd set.

FIRST, SIZE: the cooler is more like a larger highball glass, and the highball is more of a kiddy, juice glass. The 17 oz. cooler is smaller than the typical large 19oz or 20oz. cooler you're sometimes see (20 oz holds a British Pint of beer, cola, or pina colada). And, since the glass flares at the top, of those 17 oz, a little more than usual resides in the top vertical inch. But they are up-front about the volume of each size glass, so size did not alter my rating and I liked those sizes. If you want a giant glass, search for "beer" or "pilsner" or "cooler" and make sure you look for 19oz or larger.

NEXT, USE: I bought these glasses because I have fibromyalgia and carpal-tunnel, which keeps me from being able to grip well and causes me to be a little clumsy. These glasses are easy to hold without gripping tightly and won't slip out of your hand easily. They are also heavy/substantial enough to not topple over easily while not being too heavy to hold. Plus, they allow room at the top (to avoid spills). The flare also makes it a little easier to drink from without being too flared, like a martini glass.

It's hard to find the 10oz highball glasses separately, and they're awesome for kids or juice - they have the same proportions, but shorter. The short, wide double old-fashioned (DOF) glass (which is 14 oz) is not as useful for people who easily tip their glass over because it's extremely difficult to leave over an inch of room from the top of the glass while still having more than a few sips of drink in the glass. And if you buy this set, you do not need to round out your collection with a DOF.

Plus, they're pretty and exotic-looking enough for a dinner party.

Our dishwasher might be a little rough, but most of our glasses broke within a year. They were broken in the dishwasher or sink or from stacking. None were dropped. I love the way they looked in the picture. They aren't as nice in real life, but if they didn't break, they would be fun for every day glasses. I usually like Libbey glasses. These break way too easily.

These glasses are FANTASTIC! They fit perfectly under the ice dispenser for our fridge- so no cubes fall out and ice doesn't end up on the floor.

i've had the glasses in constant use for at least a month now and they really held up good. i'm surprised for the price it shipped good-not one was broken- and they do good in the dishwasher. of course, i won't be juggling with them, after all, it is glass. for the price, these glasses lived up to more than i expected, not one is broken with the gentle tilts here and there. the plus is you can get your hand in with the sponge to wash it easy-the top flares out a bit and it's not that narrow inside. i'm very pleased with the purchase.

I love the shape of these glasses. I use them as my everyday drinking glasses. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they're a little fragile. A couple have broken in the dishwasher. I love them so much I bought an additional box in case anymore break.

I purchased this set a year ago, and all of the smaller tumblers developed cracks in them and had to be discarded. The workmanship on these glasses is very poor.

All glasses arrived perfectly without a single chip or crack! I also really like the look of the curved sides and way it feels in my hand. Then I tested washing a few glasses in my dishwasher, and one of them cracked. I'm washing mine by hand now, which is not a big deal since the curved sides make it easy to reach in and clean.
