5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite wine glass.
OK. I have high dollar glasses of all sizes. I am a bit of a wine drinker with about 400 bottles cellered. I got these for by the spa thinking cheap and what the heck if one breaks. I now grab these at home and they have been my favorite glasses. Highly recommend.

I have had trouble holding onto these glasses. A couple times I actually had them slip from my hands, fortunately almost immediately after lifting them so not much spilt. I think their diameter is just to large for my hands. And, yes, this was before I had drunk any wine!

So, Im not recommending them. I do recommend Riedel O Cabernet...

5.0 out of 5 stars pretty glasses, multi purpose, November 16, 2008

i love high end glass ware...with that said, i had enough of breaking my 15 dollar a piece thin glass stemless wine glasses...not to mention the trip by Bosch to fix the dishwasher which got clogged because i was too lazy to do the thin glass by hand, which proceeded to break, and then clog the sensitive bosch motor....

these are great...they are not too thick...but they are very sturdy...totally awesome for everyday use with a multitude of beverages, not just wine...gorgeous reflective surface and just the right size...not too big, not too small..

i got the "white wine" set too...am retiring my fancy high end glassware...just too much of a headache.

There isn't much to say about this product. The set is 10 bucks, so the price is right. The glasses are light and delicate like wine glasses should be, but not to the point that you feel they're going to break easily. They can handle some slight mishandling, but don't expect amazing durability. For the price, I don't think you can beat this set if you're looking for stemless red wine glasses. However, I will say that they aren't the most eye-catching pieces of glassware in the world. They're very simple and designed with function in mind. I think I'm also going to get a set of traditional stemmed wine glasses, simply because I'm sometimes in the mood to drink wine in something a little more visually interesting. For what they are, though, you can't go wrong here.

The bottom line:
- Simple, functional, quality glassware at a great price.

So, Im not recommending them. I do recommend Riedel O Cabernet Glasses, Set of 6 with 2 Bonus Glasses, and COSTCO.COM is currently selling a case of 12 for seventy-nine dollars, an excellent price.

these look good for everyday...
and for those of you contemplating more, Amazon sells the red or white in boxes of 12 for $29:

Libbey 17-Ounce Stemless White Wine, Box of 12 and/or Libbey 16-1/2-Ounce Stemless Red Wine, Box of 12

I love these glasses. Not as tippy as stem-ware. Holds plenty of wine and air so you get the nose. Reasonably priced, so replacing broken glasses is no big deal. I use them for everything now, including water.

These glasses are chic, stable, large enough to let the wine breathe and let out all of its aromas. Sometimes, a glass of wine is on the countertop, and I am just passing by - the aroma hits my nose so pleasantly that I just have to stop and stick it in the glass. Also, I personally like stemless glasses, so these look perfect to me. They can be used for soft drinks, water and fruit juice as well. I definitely would recommend this product as a very good buy.

I bought these glasses for my wife, thinking it would make it easier to drink wine without constantly worrying about the kids (5 and 3) knocking them over. They work wonderfully, and have quickly become our favorite glasses. I cannot remember the last time we used our glasses with stems. These are just too nice. Comfortable in the hand, sturdy, and most of all not tippy! Highly recommended for anyone, but especially wine drinkers with kids. How can you pass them up at this price?

This is the glass I need for near my laptop! I've damaged 2 computers with spilled wine. This glass doesn't splash when bumped, and it rocks back up when tipped. (Okay, it's a little hard to hold.)

I was looking for wine glasses for casual occasions and these are perfect and a lot cheaper than a lot of the others out there. They're sturdy but not too thick or too thin, and their shape really helps avoid spills. I've got fairly small hands for a guy and I have absolutely no problem holding these glasses as some have mentioned. I will say that they are very slippery when washing them in the sink, but I usually clean them in the dishwasher so it's not usually a problem. They've become my favorite wine glasses and I'd definitely order again.
