It may be cheap, but for its price, it does a darn good job. Only zoom and record controls, but the variable speed-zoom is sensitive enough. I like that the cable can plug into both the left side and the top-- it allows for more mounting options.The only problem I've had thus far was that the cable went bad, but I replaced it for fairly cheap with a Manfrotto 522SCA Spare Standard Control Cable for 521, 522 and 523 Remote Controllers.

I've found myself doing more event work, lately. As such, I've had to spend hours with my arm at an odd angle, poised over my camera's zoom rocker. No more!I used this on my last event and would never do something like that without one of these again. It's very well made and works extremely well with my DVX100A. |
