I bought this for my daughter (30 years old) for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Took it to work and all her pals there love it, too! It is so funny and beautiful at the same time. A nice tribute to the man who was the first one to go "way over the top"...at least in my lifetime.

This is the first of a wonderful 4 book series that includes Elvis, Star Wars, and Marilyn Monroe as well. In this book, as in the others, you get 12 die-cut cardstock full-body images, many seen here in color for the first time- all of which punch-out and stand up with little included stands. Great for your desktop, dashboard, or anywhere you want a little Liberace- including as hanging decorations on your Christmas tree! Well-reviewed all over the web- makes a great gift for lovers of kitsch, glam, and fun.

Yes, there are adult paper dolls. This book is fun to play with and fun to read. It is light escape and reminds the reader the humor behind the costumes of Liberace. Everytime I pick it up I smile and amuse myself by the thoughts of Liberace's costumes on stage and how much fun the man behind the piano must have had wearing them.

I have given this book as a gift for Birthdays, Hanukah, Christmas, Get Well and Thank You occasions. Everyone always loves it and gets a good laught from it!

I saw the review for this book in my local paper. I had no idea what I was really getting. What fun! I had ordered two to send to a friend. I probably won't cut out anything but it's a fun look see.

They've done it again! I loved the Joy of Liberace cookbook by the Feders, and I love this! I should have bought 2- one to keep, and one to punch out the Liberace dolls

The costumes? Fantastic! The blurb? It works...

but I just didn't feel like I was getting enough bang for my buck. I wanted more costumes, more blurb, must more generally.

For a greeting card disguised as a book it is more than adequate. But as a book, I would have liked it to be a bit longer, more pithy, more fun.

I work for a book vendor, and this randomly came across my desk a few years ago when it came out. I wound up buying it because it made me giggle, and 4 years later I'm still laughing! I've shared most of my Liberaces with co-workers, so there's a minor infestation in the office. Sadly, I am almost out and find myself wishing for a new set to come out.

I gave this to a friend for Christmas and he has continually quoted from it. I knew he would love it. Personally I would have liked it better as the paper dolls I remember from childhood, but my friend keeps it by his bedside to make him laugh every morning.

This book is truly the epicenter for Kitsch- and makes nice holiday tree ornaments, party decorations, hanging mobiles, and so on. Watch in August 2008 for the Elvis version!!!
