5.0 out of 5 stars My Soul is Free
I am going to be brave and write the first review. I enjoyed reading Liberated Muse: How I Freed My Soul and seeing the various works of art displayed throughout the book. The book is an inspiring tapestry of short stories, art and poetry. I was touched by the heartwarming and candid preface by Khadijah Ali-Coleman and some of my favorite pieces were Farah Lawal's "Just...

2.0 out of 5 stars Liberated through breast cancer and forgiveness
The story "Liberated through breast cancer and forgiveness," by Francine L. Baldwin is a powerhouse! I was liberated just by reading it. It is an excellent story, and one that everyone can relate to whether you've had breast cancer or not. She gives good food for thought, it is a very good read. I would like to read other stories and essays by her. Keep up the good work...

I am going to be brave and write the first review. I enjoyed reading Liberated Muse: How I Freed My Soul and seeing the various works of art displayed throughout the book. The book is an inspiring tapestry of short stories, art and poetry. I was touched by the heartwarming and candid preface by Khadijah Ali-Coleman and some of my favorite pieces were Farah Lawal's "Just to Impress You" which was about self acceptance; Randy L. Gross' "The Server" which was about being selfless; and Venus Jones' powerful poem "Chasing Freedom" which I interpreted to be a yearning for the "motherland". There are so many poems and stories that I could write about, but I urge you to read this book. This anthology has something for everyone so get ready to liberate your mind and soul and partake in the journey.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic journey, December 23, 2009
This review is from: Liberated Muse Volume I: How I Freed My Soul (Paperback)
I was taken on an artistic journey that let me peek into the feelings of creative spirits. I especially enjoyed The Box by Stephen R. "Fresh" Freshley and NOG by the talented Turtel Onli.
