This review is from: For the Liberation of Brazil (Latin American Library) (Mass Market Paperback)
I read many parts of this book online, here in Brazil.
The author,Carlos Marighella, was a Brazilian marxist betrayed, by his followers and killed by Brazilian police in an ambush, in 1969.
In this book, there's a letter from the author to Cuban tirant Fidel Castro, writen in 1967. In this letter, the author gives 100% support to Fidel Castro's idea to impose tirannies, in all Latin America by using of terror and guerrillas.
In fact, to the Marxist author of this book, "liberation" means the end of all freedoms.
This book is small and concise, but its real value of this book is an historical one.
Marxists tirannies are growing today, in Latin America by fascist ways, not by the doomed ways claimed in this book.
As a source about the Marighella's mind, the book "Minimanual of the Urban Guerrilla" is a better choice. The "Minimanual of the Urban Guerrilla" was also writen by Carlos Marighella.
