Music's a mixed bag, but you can't beat the price (or the cause), April 19, 2009
All righty, let's break this down. First up, the music: There are 16 songs on here, and as with most comps, there's a lot of variety and you're probably not going to like everything. There are the bigger draw bands to get people to buy this, like NOFX, Anti-Flag, and even Good Charlotte (ye gads). What really makes this disc worthwhile, though, are the tracks by some of the lesser-known bands, from the sweet punk-pop of The Eyeliners, to the sinister electro-rock of The Faint, to the ripping songs of Bigwig and District 7. There are more winners here than the typical comp, and for $4, you can't beat the price.
Next up: Packaging. This fuzzy puppy comes in a standard jewel case with a clear tray. All the artwork is on the same snazzy-looking beige-looking paper, while the brief liner notes mainly give song credits and tells you where to find the album the song came from, as well as the bands' websites.
Unfortunately, it seems a lot of the people here think that delivering an ill-informed rant castigating PETA constitutes a review for this CD. Yes, if you buy this CD, some of your money goes to PETA, and yes, Ingrid has said and done some things I disagree with. In the end, PETA does far more good than they do bad, and now they even have their ABC campaign as an effort to make amends for the shelter animal debacle. I'm a vegan and clearly biased, but I think this is a worthwhile purchase. It ain't going to break you and you'll not only support PETA, but show some love to Fat Wreck and rad bands like Propagandhi as well.

Try something different, November 19, 2003
This is a great cd. I am very new to the 'punk' genre of music (if you like) and this was a great introductory cd. I enjoyed the diverse mix of music from bands like the faint, goldfinger, good charlotte, the eyeliners and desaparecidos. I would recommend this cd to anyone who is new to this kind of music or who is already familiar with it as there are acoustic versions of songs as well as some that I believe are b-sides. It's cheap, charitable and good to listen to.

Everyone you want on one album, June 3, 2003
There are a ton of these comps out there, but this one is my new favorite. The tracks by Good Charlotte and Midtown are cool acoustic versions. The song by The Used is sweet, and one I'd never heard before. Bigwig is my all time favorite band, I hope this CD brings them the attention they deserve. And if you are a Conor Oberst fan, you have to buy it just for the Desaparecidos track. It flows well, and has good variety without anything too weird stuck in the middle.
