This book serves as something of a supplement to Mike Bailey's earlier work on 2nd Air Division B-24s.

As such it provides an extension to his B-24 masterpiece. It is not, however a masterpiece in itself. How could it be? All the fresh visuals went into his first work. This second work sees the re-emergence of of quite a lot of previously published photographs.

If you are a long time afficianado of the B-24 in the ETO, this may not be the most important book you purchase.

If you are a B-24 addict, you will purchase it anyway. It really is good: fine photographic reproduction and more excellent colour profiles.
