Let me start by saying I have yet to play through most of Liberty City Stories and I played only enough of Vice City Stories to see if I would like it. Also, this review will probably be more helpful to someone who has played GTA3 and Vice City. With that said, I am very impressed with both games. This is because they took two old games that I know and love and changed very little about them. All the missions are different, but the important thing for me is that the maps are exactly the same. To stop boring you, here is a list of things that I think makes the games worth playing if you enjoyed GTA3 and Vice City:1. The maps are nearly the same. 2. The addition of motorcycles in LCS. 3. The ability to swim in VCS. 4. The smooth gameplay. I was fearful the gameplay would be choppy considering it was converted from a PSP game (e.g. Twisted Metal: Head On, when converted, seemed very choppy to me) 5. New missions while keeping certain things about the game (e.g. Vigilante Missions, Hidden Packages, Unique Jumps, etc.) So to conclude, this game has deep and smooth gameplay, takes old games and makes them new without compromising anything, and is ideal for anyone who, like me, believes that GTA3 is the pinnacle of the the series. For those who haven't played the old ones, I think they are worth a try, but I'm not sure if you are going to feel the same was as the gamer who has played GTA3 and Vice City.

From PlayStation 2 to PlayStation 3,

Yes! It'slong past time for Rockstar North to use their new R.A.G.E. developed back in 2008, update the graphics to Grand Theft Auto IV's level, re-release them on PlayStation 3 as part of a 3-game set including Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Stories when it comes out next year!

First- I would say to BYPASS this and just get the Vice City Stories game only!GTA Liberty City Stories- you're helping "Tony" from GTA III, the lapdog of Salvatore Leone rise to his lofty position. Whoopie doo! I gave up on this game early when the missions became about Tony kissing up to his @#$%!@ mother. I was glad to knock off Leone in GTA III. Since the basic storyline of this game sucks I can hardly recommend it. The radio stations suck as bad as the ones from GTA III. The only good part are the weapons. But the graphics are shoddy at best- what do you want for a game ported up from a handheld? LC Stories sucks! GTA Vice City Stories -- This one also has some jokers I can't stand like Lance Vance- and although the character you are playing will be dead in Vice City, he is far more likable than Lance Vance or Tony from GTA LC Stories. Make sure you punch Lance a few times when doing missions with him (for being the pain in the butt he is in Vice City - it's great when you get to knock him off in VC!) Also you will hit a dead end with the missions. There is one mission where you have to pick up 2 crates with a helicopter and deliver them to a drop point. But that mission requires you to pick up a moving car driven by Umberto of the Cuban gang- being chased by motorcycles. The extreme difficulty of that mission makes it impassible. It is where I stopped trying to pursue anymore missions as rescuing the car is totally impossible. One of these days Rockstar will make a game no one can beat and it will kill their company! But this game is still fun to go around beating the crap out of people, shooting, looting, etc. The radio stations on here are just as cool as the ones on Vice City. My 2 cents.
