I recommend this game to anyone who is into history and strategy. You have the choice of controling the powerful British army or the continental army. You control everything and the setting and events are authentic to the American Revolution. You control the battles and the outcome of your own revolution!

This ended up being my favorite non-sport game on the sega system. Play is easy but moves slowly because of all the preparation one must do to set up the battles. The battlefield engagements are what make this one worthwhile.
It's the British versus the Colonists beginning in 1775. The game is full of historical leaders and officers; the latter are rated to each of their individual abilities. One has to worry about sufficient supplies including weapons, food & powder. Loyalty, morale & training of troops are a concern also. the game also has a built-in system to keep you motivated to battle: if you aren't doing enough things to satisfy the respective governing bodies they might vote you out of leading your nation's armies. Voted off? End of game!
