When this item was new, it seemed a good deal at $44.99 but, within months, this garden hose pot started to rust out at the bottom.

The only way to save this hose pot from rusting away is to immediately spray it with Rustoleum "hammered copper" spray paint (which matches the finish quite well) and stick adhesive rubber pads on the bottom to keep the paint from being scraped off and to keep air moving under the base.

powder coated steel NOT copper. But it looks very much like copper and is well done. relatively light weight and holds a 75 ft hose with no difficulty. a 100 footer might be a bit of a stretch . both this item and the fire house pot by the same manufacturer are exquisite additions to any high end property or garden . Its the look and feel of copper at less than half the cost. Should last for years. Be sure to use a good quality non kink hose like a Gilmore or similar quality Gilmore 10-58050 8-ply Flexogen Hose 5/8-Inch-by-50-Foot, Green

Very lightweight and easy to handle, it looks great on my porch. If you're looking for solid copper, this isn't it but you would never ever know it. It looks exactly like a smaller hammered copper pot I have that cost about 3 times as much. It even sounds like copper when you thump it. It's copper coated steel. We'll see how long the coating lasts but I'm very happy with it.

This is not a copper pot

It is steel with a cheesy bright copper painted finish which looks nothing like the photo image provided - no patina whatsoever

100ft hose is definitely out of the question with this pot. 50ft works ok but was initially difficult to get it to coil properly in the pot. It may get easier after the 1st few uses.

I found this Garden hose pot works great in my yard.
Looks great amongst my flowers and looks more expensive than it really is.
I really like it.

I bought this because I was sick of tripping over my water hose on the back porch. The hose wraps up perfectly in it and it looks really good. It took me a long time to find something I like and was practical and this fit the requirements that I had.

We used this over the summer. It accommodates the 50 foot hose well and is fairly stable when using it.
