Ordered two of these hooks based on appearance. I failed to realize at the time that the size of the hook is NOT available on the website. So, now that I own it, I have to say that it is good looking, but really too small for our use. It is 1.5" long and 1.5 inches deep. I noticed that many of the Liberty items are lacking measurements. Makes it hard to buy when you can't be sure the item fits the "scale" of your project. I rated it with 3 stars not because it is crummy, but because the manufacturer needs to make buying easier by supplying measurements for online shoppers.

this is an excellent hook for my purposes. i guess some people expected it would be bigger, but it is just the right size for my needs (i hang my towel on it by the shower). you could easily hang a robe or a coat or a cap or the like.
it is very high quality and the nickel finish is very nice. i like the shape of it, too - it holds things very securely.
as to size, it sticks out about 1 3/8" from the wall and the hook itself sticks up about 1". the whole height of the thing, includign the part where the screws go in is 1 3/4".

The photo on Amazon does not show how small and whimmy this robe hook is. Specs: It weighs 20 grams and sticks out from your wall exactly 38 mm (to outside edge). Screw holes for mounting are very close together. Cost $3.99
I recommend Home Depot (Brand Name: Everbilt "Large Single Robe Hook"). Specs: It weighs exactly 60 grams, measures exactly 48 mm (to outside edge), and has mounting holes that are further apart and offset to provide more secure mounting on the wall. Part #s on bag: 874 515 and 71 and 15737 and skew # 30699 15737 2. Cost $3.28

I bought these to install next to bath sink and my vanity area. why? to hang blow dryers! Nice and sturdy (screwed into stud in both cases) and simple in design, so it does not call attention to itself. Perfect to hang the loop at the back of the hairdryer on and keep it out of the way.

I was looking for something simple to use in my bathroom. When it arrived I was little surprised on how small it was for the money, but still a pretty good buy. It is very small. I am not a whiz when it comes to numbers so I may have overestimated the size in my head. It does its job and white was the color I needed.

Like other reviewers have noted, they are a bit small. I'm using them for hanging towels, so the hook angle is deep enough for the cause. They are shiny and purdy, but the only grip I have is that they don't include drywall anchors. They just give you the screws and say go to town on this if you have a stud or wood beam to put it into.
Would it have killed your company if you included two drywall anchors? I gripe because I had to use my last four achors...off to the hardware store to get more. Wait, I should just order from Amazon - duh. Still giving it 3 stars.

The size is pretty much what I expected it would be, although I thought the shape would be a bit more oval. I also expected it to be heavier.
It is supposed to be able to hold 35 lbs.; however, this is provided it is screwed into solid wood or a stud.
I think most people would want to mount this type of hook onto a door - which more often than not will have a hollow core. Even if they were to put it on the wall, what are the chances of a stud being exactly where you need the hook? So be prepared to purchase the appropriate anchors, as they do not come with the hook.
Another problem you may encounter has to do with the placement of the two screw holes in the hook. As another reviewer mentioned, they are very close together. You will need to be very careful to ensure the screws go in perfectly straight - or they may meet in the wall.
The bottom line is that this hook will only be as sturdy as whatever you mount it on - and it needs to be screwed in exactly right, or it isn't going to hold anywhere near 35 lbs.
